It had been a year since my dad got remarried and had taken me away to his private property in idres, his new wife was a horrible person always taking advantage of him and his fortune.

I stair out of my window on the top floor in the attic, I had been kicked out of my old room for Kailies dresses, but I don't mind it in the attic. The peaceful sound of birds up high in the their safe nests, and I'm stuck here with a witch as my house mate as I clean up after her. Once we move into our country house she won't be able to make me do all those this any more, but she will me my father do them for, it's not my problem anymore I told him not to marry her.

I silently just listen to the sounds that come from the free world because as of tomorrow I'm going to be a part of it, and I drift off to sleep at the window.

I wake the next morning with paper stuck to my face, I quickly brush it off and give my clock a side glance and reads 10:00am.
"Shit," I swear under my breath
I rush to the bathroom moving on from a shower to getting dressed and rushing down stairs to find every one spat the door waiting for me with their luggage And kailie tapping her watch looking at my farther. He gives me an unmistakable glance and proceeds to the car I just is the far back seat so I don't have to listen to the bicker over every little detail. I drift slowly back into my slumber for the rest of the car ride.
I wake with a start when my father goes over a bump in the road, As we pulled up at the old house, I glance out the window to see the whole property, fields stretching for miles. I look over to see the house, a huge three story mansion with vines creeping up the sides, there is a small window poking out the top of the attic, and I know instantly that kailie will make me sleep up there. I think in furiously.
We pull up and I get out the car, dump my bag inside and race off the the barn that is at the top of the next hill. As I run the wind blowing my hair out of my face, I let my thoughts run wild. Once I get to the barn I am out of breath and heaving, I heave open the door and rest on the hay stack in the corner of the building.
And I drifted back into my slumber
