Protect you? did you really hear that right? You lifted up your head from Akaashi shoulders slowly you looked over at him and he was sleeping so peacefully. You noticed he had something on his face so you slowly move closer to him so you can take it off his face.
You gently took it off face but while you were doing that Akaashi slowly opened his eyes and noticed you. (To put further detail you guys were inches away from kissing each other doesn't that give you flashbacks y/n?)
"y/n are you ok" Akaashi whispered
You quickly move back a bit and nodded your head.
"i'm fine" You said
"it's probably really late you should probably get some sleep" He said
Akaashi still looked sleepy you just wanted to throw yourself into his arms but you didn't have guts for that so instead you went back to sitting next to him. Akaashi looked over at you and noticed that you were cold ( again) He slowly brought you closer to him and wrap his arms around your waist. You were completely lost for words you couldn't believe that this was happening to you. You could smell that beautiful scent that Akaashi had which always soothes your nose ever so gently. You slowly look up at Akaashi he noticed that you were staring at him from the corner of his eye. He turned his head to look at you and stared at you. You admired his face you felt like you were in a romantic story (maybe Kiyoko was right).
"Are you still cold" He asked with a soft smile on his face.
"no" You said staring into his eyes
"Goodnight y/n" He whispered before closing his eyes. You looked down at your waist which was wrapped in Akaashi's arms well that was the last thing you remember before you fell asleep.

*The next day*

You woke up laying down resting your head on a bean bag. You lift yourself up so you could sit down properly you rubbed eyes slowly and noticed someone was staring at you. Then you looked at the door to see that it was wide open.
"there's our favourite manager" A voice said
You looked over at the direction that the voice was coming from.
"who's there?" you muttered
The person moved closer towards you and slapped their hands on your face and said
"it's me you idiot"
"Kuroo" You glared at him
"i don't understand how you have energy to glare at me" He said while he moved from your face
"where Akaashi?" You asked
"he went to do some training" He smiling at you
"ew why are you smiling like a creep" You said with a disgust facial expression
"did anything happen" He whispered
"no" You said bluntly
"liar i have evidence" Kuroo teased
"evidence?" You questioned
"yes but i will never tell you" Kuroo teased again
He stood up and began to skip towards the door.
"HEY" You shouted and you quickly stood up
Kuroo walked out of the storage room and door before turning back to face you again.
"tell me" You whined
"no" He smiled
"you're so annoying" You complained
" oh yeah the coach wanted to tell you that you are being punished for getting stuck in the storage and i have to watch you so you don't do anything bad again" He said
"how great" You muttered
You left the storage room and you promised that you will never get stuck in a room ever again. You are glad that it was over because even though you were with Akaashi it wasn't fun being stuck in storage room for a night.
You went back into your room to get your stuff to go shower and you picked out some clothes and opened the door. While you walking out the room and saw Kuroo standing outside of your room. You jumped in shock and looked at him.
"Kuroo what are you doing" You said
"i'm supposed watch you remember" He smiled
"ok weird but i need to shower what are gonna do join me" You said
"maybe i should" Kuroo said
You quickly punched his arm and walked towards the showers satisfied because Kuroo 100% deserved that. Time passed really quickly you need to redeem yourself so you work extra hard today to make sure that the coach was impressed which surprisingly worked. even though sometimes you can be the worst manager surprisingly at times you are extremely hardworking. You took some amazing notes and watching each player carefully, you also stayed behind when everyone was finished to clean up. Let's not forget Kuroo was there aswell but he wasn't helpful at all he didn't even help you get out the volleyball cart. While Kuroo was being lazy you were putting volleyball in the chart until you got hit with one. You thought that it was Kuroo but he didn't have a volleyball next to him. You immediately turned around to see it was Bokuto and next to him was Akaashi and Tsukishima.
"I'm sorry y/n" Bokuto said while opened his arms to hug you.
"it's ok" You smiled while you threw yourself into his arms. Bokuto really gave the best hugs
they were nice and long ( little didn't you know that Bokuto did this act on purpose to make a certain someone jealous).
"y/n" Akaashi said
"yes" You replied
"ermm i think we should go" Tsukishima said
"YES SIR" Bokuto said while the stomped away from you guys and decided to go to Kuroo.
Akaashi rolled his eyes at them while they walked off he watched them walk of before continuing.
"i'm sorry i wasn't there when you woke up Bokuto came in and he wasn't pleased that i wasn't there for his morning speech"Akaashi said
"no it's fine but now i think i understand how Kuroo got inside the room" You replied.

*Flashback to this morning*
The caretaker finally gets the door opened after a few attempts. Kuroo , Bokuto and Tsukishima enter the storage room talking they turned a corner and noticed you and Akaashi
sleeping. Akaashi arms were still wrapped around you waist and you head rested on his chest. Kuroo and Bokuto began to jump up and down excitedly but surprisingly they were not making any noise which was a shock to Tsukishima. Kuroo pulls out his phone and begans to take pictures of you and Akaashi.
"group photo!" Bokuto exclaimed
As they all came next you guys and took a selfie while guys were still sleeping.
After tonnes of pictures they all got tired of taking selfies so Bokuto decided to wake up Akaashi. He began to poke him aggressively until he woke up and noticed everyone was staring at him.
He looked them and then quickly looked at you and began to blush.
"wow she makes you blush" Tsukishima said unimpressed
Akaashi quickly looks away from them and they started laughing at Akaashi.
"look at him! his arms wrapped around her" Kuroo laughed whilst pointing at his arms
Bokuto moved closer to Akaashi invading his personal space and whispered.
"are you blushing ?"
"what no!" Akaashi whispered
Bokuto hit Akaashi and began to complain how he was extremely irresponsible for getting locked in the storage room even though it was clearly their fault.
Akaashi quickly hush Bokuto "you are gonna wake her up"
"ooohhh" Bokuto said
"sorry romeo" Tsukishima teased
"romeo?" Akaashi said
"yes romeo deal with it" Kuroo demanded
"aww she looks cute when she sleeps" Bokuto said
"ew you see cute i see a demon in her natural habitat " Kuroo exclaimed
"hey don't say that about Akaashi's juliet" Tsukishima teased
"oh yeah i'm sorry" Kuroo said
"AKAASHI you have to a extra lap on our run" Bokuto said
"wait why" Akaashi complained
"because you were irresponsible" Bokuto said
"but it-" Before Akaashi could say anything Bokuto interrupted him
"no buts i'm the capitan so i win" He teased while he skipped out of the storage room
"don't worry Romeo i look after y/n she gonna get in trouble anyway" Kuroo said to Akaashi
Akaashi asked Kuroo to pass him a bean bag and he placed your head onto the bean bag. He looked at you and smiled before leaving the storage room with Tsukishima.

"Akaashi's juliet? i guess so
