Timeless Love (A Jaden Smith Love Story)

Chapter 4- Seeing Him Again...

I couldn't believe it, I was going to see him again! As I was trying to make myself as perfect as possible, I was thinking about how weird I was. Just a few hours ago I had met Jaden, and I already felt like there was a strong connection between us, like if we were meant to be together. Eh, I was exaggerating. I had literally just talked to him for like 5 min., how could I be saying this? I didn't even know his relationship status. What if he had a girlfriend? I know I shouldn't get too caught up.
  I curled my long hair, brown hair, which reached down to my waist. I put on my favorite pair of light pink shorts, a blue shirt, and pink shoes. (Picture of her outfit ^).

   "Hey sis, are you ready? We have to go, Jaden is waiting for us already." Mateo said in a desperate voice. Boys are so annoying, they're always in a hurry.
  
    " Yeah, I'll be out there in a minute, or 5, depends." Of course I wasn't going to take that long, I REALLY wanted to see Jaden.
    " Seriously? Ok, I'll be out in the car with Moises, please try to hurry."
  
    " Ok." I came out of my room and went downstairs to find the best thing in the world. I opened the front door, finding my brothers in my FAVORITE car.
    " You have a 2015 Challenger?!" Could my dad be any better? He bought my brothers a Challenger?! I was freaking out, a 2015 black Challenger with two cherry red lines running across the center, was sitting in front of my eyes. The closest I had never been any closer than 15 feet away from one of these cars, yet my room in my mom's house  was full of huge posters of this car.
    " Nope, actually its your car. Dad bought it for your birthday, and he decided that it would be a good time to use it, even though its 5 days before your birthday. You, sister, are welcome." Mateo was such a nice person! But how did they know that it was my favorite car and colors?

    " Omg!! How did you know?! You guys are amazing! This is the perfect car for me!"

    " We called mom and asked her what your favorite car and color was, and she said judging by your room walls, it was this car," Mateo said, motioning to the car.
    " Really? You did all that for me? I love you guys!" I couldn't hold in my excitement. All I wanted to do was get in the car, but I didn't to seem desperate.
     " Yeah we love you too sis but we got to go, its already ten minutes after the time Jaden was supposed to meet with us." We got in the car; Mateo was in the passenger seat, Moises in the back, and me in front of the wheel. I was soo excited and happy! " Wait, hold up. You do have a license right?" Mateo asked. Did I have a license? I didn't remember, and I immediately started looking through my purse. I found my wallet, and next to my Starbucks gift card, i found the small piece of plastic that allowed me to drive my dream car. I showed it to Mateo, and not a second later I started the car.
6 minutes and 8 miles later, we arrived at Santa Monica Place, one of the best malls in LA. Thanks to my amazing ability to drive through traffic without getting stuck, we appeared in front of the mall 10 minutes before the expected time.

  As we entered the mall, we searched for Jaden. At last we found him, and I immediately smiled. But my smile seemed to fade into the air as I looked to his right and saw his fingers intertwined with a girl who looked perfect. Her skin was slightly colored, and her flawless, straight black hair shined with blonde highlights as it flowed down to her waist. My light brown locks were no competition for her perfect hair. Her shorts and MSFTS shirt fitted her skinny complexion. Around her waist there was a black MSFTS hoodie, which matched Jaden's perfect outfit. There was nothing else that could make it more obvious that they were in a relationship. My heart shattered as I realized what I was afraid of. I had fallen for Jaden, but he was in a relationship. At that moment, nothing else in the world seemed to matter. I was really sad, and there was no possible way I could hide it.
  Noticing my uneasiness, Mateo's reassuring arm wrapped around my shoulders. As they saw us, Jaden and his girlfriend walked over to us.
 
   "Hey guys! How are you? Why did you take so long?" Could he be any more perfect? Even Jaden's voice sounded great. " By the way, this is my girlfriend Kylie. When I told her you guys had a sister, she really wanted to meet her." He said with the best smile I had ever seen.
   " Hi!! You must be Nicole. I'm Kylie, and as you can see I am really excited to meet you!" Said Kylie, in the most excited voice I had ever heard. Pretty and nice?
    " Hey and yeah, I can see that. Nice to meet you." I said, with probably the fakest smile to ever exist. I was still sad, and i didn't know what to do. Next thing I know, a hand was pulling me away from my brothers: Kylie. " Come one, lets go into that Aeropostale, I think they're having a huge sale right now."

Jaden's POV

  "Soo anything new?" asked Mateo, motioning to Kylie. "Since when do you have a girlfriend?" A wave of guilt washed over me.
   " Look she isn't really my girlfriend, I actually convinced her to act like my girlfriend in front of Nicole." How could I be doing this? I hadn't even met Nicole properly, and I already liked her? And I knew Kylie really wanted a relationship with me, but I didn't exactly want anything with her. I liked her, she was pretty and she had a good heart, but she could often get annoying. But what actually made me feel like a jerk was that i hadn't exactly told Kylie we were only going to "date" for a few hours. She thought that we were going to be in a long term relationship, but all I really wanted was someone to distract me from Nicole's beauty which caused me to get nervous. I didn't even know why I did that. I had just learned she existed a few hours ago.
  "What? What do you mean? You literally met my sister a few hours ago, how can you possibly like her already? And what's up with Kylie? Are you sure she knows its just a one day relationship? 'Cuz you are going to break up with her today right? Are you going to continue this "relationship" for a while?" I could notice that Mateo was getting madder by the second. I knew I was being a jerk by playing with Kylie's heart.
  " Chill bro. Stop asking so many questions, please. And Kylie doesn't know that its just a one-day thing, but i'll tell her tonight and i'm pretty sure she won't care. And I don't like like Nicole I just think she is nice and pretty cool. She seems fun to hang around her."
  " Well Kylie seems really cool, and I wouldn't want you to be a jerk to her and break her heart." Moises and Mateo had always been like my big  brothers, and he always tried to give me advice to be a good guy.
   " I know, and trust me, I won't. She is nice, and I wouldn't do that to her. But for now, lets go have fun." I lead Mateo and Moises to my favorite store. We walked around, and the hours seemed to pass quickly.

Nicole's POV
After a few hours of walking around with a quirky Kylie, we finally met with Jaden, Moises, and Mateo at the food court. We each bought Panda Express, and sat at a table. It was already 9 pm, 4 hours had passed since we got here. There was practically no one left at the mall, and they were about to close.

  " So Nicole, you're going to live here now, right?" Jaden asked, drinking his mango smoothie.
  " Yup."
 
Jaden's POV
"Cool," I looked down at my iPhone, getting a text. It was my ex, Makayla. God she was annoying. It was the 6th time she had texted me today.

Makayla : Hey baby ;) I'm going to the mall right now. You busy? Want to meet me there?
I had broken up with Makayla about 3 months ago. We had a good relationship, until she cheated on me with my "friend" who played on my basketball team. Since then she kept saying "sorry, I drunk, I didn't want to do it, please forgive me. Let's recreate our relationship." She wouldn't leave me alone. She left me heartbroken for a long time, yet I was still angry at her for doing that to me.
Jaden: No Makayla, i'm busy. I told you to leave me alone and pls stop calling me "baby." We are long over, so just stop. Pls.

Makayla : Gosh, you're such a party pooper. We can have fun. Let's forget
the past. You know you still like me ;)

Jaden: Hell no. I would never get back with you. You hurt me. Alot. So stop texting me.

I turned off my phone so I wouldn't get her texts.

  " Hey guys I got to go. Want to do something later this week, maybe tomorrow?" I asked, I really wanted to see Nicole again. She was awesome and fun to hang around with.
  " Sure, i'll text you. C'mon Nicole and Mateo. Let's get going. Dad is probably worried already." Moises said.
I realized Kylie was here. " Hey, Kylie you want me to give you a ride home?"
  " No its ok, my dad is on his way. Thanks though," she said, with her million dollar smile.
  "Ok. I had to leave that moment. Makayla would get here any second, and the worse thing that could happen would be to see Makayla again. Just by thinking of her I got goosebumps. We all said bye, and left.

Nicole's POV
We all said goodbye and I went to my Challenger with my brothers. We went home, and I fell on my bed, immediately falling asleep. Today had been a long day. It was a great day though. I moved into my dad's house. I saw my brothers, and I got my favorite car. But probably the best part of today was meeting Jaden. I couldn't wait to see him again...
