Staring into the hallway in a daze students brushed past me. With a deep sigh, I made my way down the hallway and into the reception area. Approaching the receptionist , the woman behind the counter beams a kind smile.

"How can I help you my dear?" she asked. " I'm the new student...," I trailed off. "Oh in that case you must be Rosa Russo." The receptionist, who I later learned was Mrs. Leon, spend the next few minutes going over my schedule with me. Thanking her I turned around to exit when I bumped into a person. Looking up I apologized and was surprised to see a older looking woman watching me with a strict face. "You must be the new student I assume, can you please follow me," she voiced. Following her I observed her office quietly, everything looked so dull but modern with wooden shelves lining two walls filled with trophies. Casting me a warm smile, she introduced her self as Ms. Kim and asked me to have a seat.

Cutting to the chase he asked," Do you partake in any sports, Ms. Russo?" "I was part of the track team back at home," I replied hoarsely. She grinned. "We are holding tryouts for the track team on Friday, all the information is on the bulletin board check it out." " With that being said, welcome to Dalton School. You best be getting off to your first lesson."

My first class was Social Psychology ,so I rose from the chair and walked down the corridor to the class. Taking a left, I stopped in front of a door with it's blinds down. On the door had a tag with the name Ms. Landon typed onto it. I opened the door and step inside explaining to Ms. Landon that I am the new student. Luckily she did not put me through the agony of making introductions to the class as she was ready to begin class.

Darting my eyes over the class, I spotted a familiar mop oh hair sitting at the far back. Liking reading my mind, the boy's head lifted and I tensed. It was Jeon the fighter and the boy who almost run me over earlier this morning. Removing my gaze of him I saw an empty seat next to the window on the right of the classroom.  Replaying the way he fought had me thinking can I learn to fight like that too?  Maybe I should learn how to fight, in that way I won't be terrified of my dad anymore.

By the end of the lesson, I had gathered enough courage to ask Jeon where he trains and if he can assist me. As soon as the bell rings I'm out my seat, making my way to his desk. Hesitating for a moment I realized it's a mistake but I still make footsteps t move forward. Lifting his head our eyes connected, for a second he watched me with a strong intensity before he grabbed his bag slung it over his shoulders, and walk right past me.

After my last lesson I waked to the house. It was very empty and quiet when I reached. The dishes from this morning was washed and neatly packed into the dish drainer, the counter top and floors was sparkling clean as it was mopped and wiped down and the chairs was neatly tucked into the table. Heading to the kitchen I took a banana from the fruit bowl.

Chris walks in after me, heading straight for the fridge. Turning to go upstairs to my room, Chris shouted," Adam and I are going to a party do you want to tag along?"

I agreed and head to my room to get ready for the rest of the evening.

I dressed up in a off shoulder red dress and paired it with black ankle boots and a black side bag. After putting on minimal makeup and silver loops I headed downstairs to join my cousin. "Finally!" Chris exclaimed. "Let's go." We caught an Uber to Addison Hill. After giving the driver directions we were of and I started to feel extremely nervous. The Uber pulls up at the house and my cousins informed me it's Ariana's house.  I wasn't surprised to see a gigantic house.  We strolled in the front garden where water shoots out of four fountains. Rose bushes coiled with Christmas lights littered the walkway. I scan the lawn and saw people grinding to the music and some laid on the ground drunk. Turning to question my cousins they were already long gone. Sighing I entered the house knowing I won't see them for the rest of the night.

I was given champagne by a waiter upon entering the open concept living room. Taking the glass awkwardly I clutch it tightly to my chest and sat on the furniture. Wondering why I agreed to come with my cousins I took small sips of the champagne.

The champagne I drank started to take a toll on me after a while and I had a sudden urge to pee. Making my way up the stairs I went in search of a bathroom which took time as the house was big. I came out of the bathroom without looking and was knocked down to the floor by someone. Watching a hand stretched out in front my bended head I  took it and was hauled to my feet. Taking my time to analyze the person I realized it was Jeon. He was surprised to see me but tried covering it with a glare. "Do you take interest in stalking people now especially me?" he asked." "Umm, uh, I mean no, I wanted to ask you a question though," I said. "I saw your fight and I wanted to know if you can train me as well, please." "The answer is no," he stated harshly. "Now if you excuse me I have places to be."

To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Swallowing my my pride, I suddenly wasn't in the mood to stay at the party. I tried calling my cousins to tell them the sudden change in plans but as expected no answers.  After walking home, I went to my room and run the bath. After the temperature was to my liking I removed my clothes and stepped in and tried to formulate a plan to approach Jeon tomorrow. After coming up with the perfect plan, I came out of the bathtub dried myself, put on my nightie that was already laid out on my bed and went to sleep with a smile on my face.
