A Dish Best Served Cold

After I get home I am starving. So I walk into the pantry to get some food and there was nothing there. We went to the grocery store yesterday and there was no food. I remember seeing Coles truck out front so I go up to his room to confront him. And as I open the door it gets caught on something and so I push harder and the thing knocks over making a loud noise then I walk into the room and realize that the thing standing in the door was his trophy so I roll my eyes then turn my head to see my brother on his bed in his underwear. He is listening to music as loud as he can and playing air guitar. I yell " Cole, Coleee, COLEEE! " he snaps out of it and takes his headphones off.
" what's up "
" where is the food?"
" well it was downstairs, then someone ate it. "
" no kidding Sherlock. "
" ok fine it was me, how did you know. "
" Oh my gosh I'm going to kill you. "
" I see your jealous of my trophy. " and he looks at it on the ground.
" well I guess it fell over by its self. "
" sure, so is Kyle taking you to the dance?"
" yep, which girl are you taking? "
" not sure. "
" dude this has to stop "
" it's not my fault that I like different girls at different moments."
" That made no sense to me what so ever. "
" who's that cute girl you hang out with now? Casey or something. "
" well she's taken so back off. "
" I'm having friends over tonight so be prepared to here a lot of laughing and noise. "
" thank you for the notice" he says
" if you ate all that food in 10 minutes I can imagine what you are going to eat next. "
" I have my ways" and I close the door

" Heyyyy" I say as I open the door to Casey, Mak, and Megan.
" Heyyyy" they say back
We head up stairs to get ready for the dance. We start by doing our hair and i curl my long hair. Then we do each others makeup then get our dresses and accessories on.
We get a ring of the doorbell and our dates our here. When Kyle walks in he gives me a hug and he loos perfect. His eyes match with his tie perfectly. Then Cole walks in and corners Casey saying hey do you want to be my date to the dance. She doesn't have one so she says yes while rolling her eyes.
We all go into the guys cars and leave for dinner. Kyle rented this nice dinner for all of us and once were done we headed over to the dance.
It was the perfect night. Everyone was happy and afterwards we all went separate ways and Kyle took me to the park and set up a blanket where we talked while watched the stars. He even made me hot chocolate with cinnamon on top. After wards he dropped me off at my house and walked my up to my door and the sprinklers went of and we were completely soaked. Then he kissed me and we said goodnight to each other and I walked inside.

But I wasn't alone. Casey and Cole were in there.
