Scraptrap X Lefty - Hated Love

Part 55 - Apologies

It was getting near 6am and Scraptrap still hadn't returned to the storage room yet. Everyone was getting worried and they knew that one person could help without being spotted, Golden Freddy. He disappeared to teleport around to find Scraptrap, making sure he hasn't got himself in any bother. Whilst this was happening, Lefty couldn't help but feel anxious. She didn't know how to keep herself busy so she was walking up and down, taking the same steps each time. Molten Freddy and Scrap Baby were just watching her. "Ugh, what's taking them so long?!" Lefty exclaimed, startling the others as it was a sudden outburst.

"Calm down, Lefty, I'm sure Scraptrap's fine." Baby replied, hoping for her to just chill out.

"It's nearly 6am! People are going to be on their way here, if they see Scraptrap-"

"They are not, trust me." Molten interrupted. Lefty and Baby looked at him, "How can you be so sure about it?" Lefty asked, a hint of annoyance and doubt in her voice.

"Just trust me.." He said, before leaving them to their own activities so he could rest.

Baby figured that maybe Golden Freddy told him that everything is fine with them using his communication skill. But, why didn't he tell them? Lefty just rolled her eye and walked into her room, slamming the door quite loud, startling them both. Molten Freddy sighed, and Scrap Baby thought that now is the time to speak up, "So, how are you so sure about them being fine?" Molten Freddy looked up at Baby and smiled, "Golden Freddy told me not to tell Lefty, but there is no danger, they are just on their way back now."

"But, why didn't he want Lefty to know?"

"I know just as little as you do Baby, I have no idea."

Scrap Baby didn't respond and just sat next to Molten Freddy, hoping to get some shut eye.

Scraptrap made his way to the Security Puppet after telling the others he had to be somewhere. Security Puppet heard a slight noise, so he lifted up his box to see Scraptrap walking towards him. He rolled his eyes and spoke up, "So, let me guess, you came here to tell me how stupid I was to assume you were being controlling?"

"Not at all, I just wanted to apologise." Scraptrap's answer shocked Security Puppet. After everything that had happened between them, why was Scraptrap the one to apologise? "I understand that you dislike me, I know why. It's just, when you speak to Lefty, I just get this horrible feeling in my chest when I see you two. She reminded me that she talks to me more than she does with you, that made me realise I was just being selfish. But, I found out that Lefty sometimes was in her room, she wouldn't say what she was doing, but when she finally told us, my heart sank. It hurt. She was communicating with you, well, trying to communicate as a part of her training. I just didn't like the fact that she lied to me. At the time, I didn't fully understand the skill, I thought she had mastered it already but I didn't know it was a part of her training. That's when Golden Freddy showed up. He told us he was able to use this skill too, he told me that I could use it. I wanted training, and Lefty thought it would be a good idea if we became training partners and Golden Freddy our tutor."

Security Puppet listened closely, "So, are you mad at me or not?" This was the question that he kept repeating after listening so he knew he had to ask.

"Not at all. I understand that you thought I was controlling her, but like Lefty said, you should have listened to the whole conversation, or not even listen in at all. I know what jealousy feels like, Security Puppet, and I know you are also jealous. You didn't want her talking to me, and I didn't want her talking to you."

"The reason I didn't want her talking to you is because I thought you were being manipulative, trying to get your way with Lefty using force. I should have never thought for even a second that you were being controlling."

They were in the middle of their apologetic conversation when Golden Freddy appeared. He looked confused, he thought they would have been fighting or arguing. "Am I interrupting?" He asked. Both of them shook their head but Scraptrap asked, "Why are you here?"

"Have you seen the time Scraptrap?" Scraptrap looked confused, so he looked at the clock to see it was 5:56am. He knew he had to get back to the storage room so he said one last thing to Security Puppet, "I'm sorry." Little did he know that Security Puppet had said the same thing at the same time, this made them both laugh as Scraptrap turned around to go back to the storage room.

When Scraptrap and Golden Freddy got back the room, right on 5:59, Scraptrap was surprised with a hug from Molten and Baby. Lefty heard the commotion, so she walked out of the door, seeing Scraptrap looking at her. He invited her for a group hug, and she happily rushed up to them to join.
