Part 21 - The Man Behind the Slaughter

"In Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, November 1987, before the place was shut down for the second time, there were six brand new animatronics. Toy Freddy, Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Toy Foxy, also known as Mangle, Balloon Boy and last but not least, The Puppet Master. This was after the first known 'Fredbear's Family Diner' shut down for foul smells coming from the animatronics, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. The owner used their parts to build the new animatronics.

It was a good place, the children loved it there, they enjoyed the pizza, the new animatronics, the parties. But what they wondered most, was who the Puppet was. Balloon Boy was also new there but he had a purpose to hand out balloons to the children, the Puppet on the other hand, didn't really have a purpose to entertain children, she had to make sure no children escaped the pizzeria alone without their parents. The children didn't necessarily like her or such because she had a creepy smile, according to them. There was only one child that liked her, Charlotte.

There is one thing that was different about the Puppet from every other animatronic, she had a huge role to play based on the animatronics, she gave them life. Every night, the nightguard would have to fend them off with a flashlight and a spare Freddy head and last until 6AM. It got progressively harder as the Puppet was more agitated about failing over and over again, she knew there were some extra animatronics in the back room, Parts and Service and she knew that they had a better chance of winning if they were active like the others. Even though she tried, she couldn't so she gave up. 

One day, in the daytime, there was a birthday party there were a lot of children, but their were 5 distinct ones. There was a rabbit that walked up to those 5 distinct children asking for them to follow him to see something cool. They all obliged to this and followed him into the Parts and Service room, what they saw shocked each one. The old animatronics were there, faceless, armless and many more things missing from them. The children were scared because they didn't understand why the bunny thought this was cool, they were all naive and shouldn't have listened to him. They had been in there for a long time now and nobody knew where they were, their parents were looking everywhere for them, but they couldn't find them. Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz and Cassidy were missing.

The party ended in disaster, the parents were worried sick for their children and they could only blame the Puppet as they thought they ran away. She was deactivated and they hired a guard for the dayshift to ensure that no other children disappeared. What they didn't know is that the Puppet had no master, she was her own. She had cut the strings a long, long time ago.

Another time at the pizzeria, the Puppet had to do her usual task, ensuring no children left the pizzeria as the usual guard for that task had fallen ill. Who knew how the day would end. For the first few hours there were many children running around the Puppet as some tried to leave but the Puppet stopped them which they got annoyed at each time they got caught. There was only one child she was paying the closest attention to, and that was Charlotte. She sensed her presence near and as she tried to get out of the box, the lid didn't lift up, she couldn't get out and she heard the doors open and close again. She heard about 3 or 4 children laughing in a bad way as it faded away, she eventually managed to open her lid to see another box fall off, the children trapped her in there. She was looking around until she looked out of the window to see a little girl, jumping and banging at the window, nobody could hear the noise over the other children playing so as the Puppet walked towards the window, the girl disappeared. The Puppet knew she had to go out and find her, this was the child that she was assigned to.

It was raining so she knew that she won't last out long so she had to hurry to find the girl. She opened the doors and as she got a third of the way around the pizzeria, she felt herself malfunctioning and getting weaker, she still continued as she needed to find the girl. Again, another third of the way around, she had to crawl as her legs gave up on her due to excessive amounts of water inside her. At the final third, she saw her, lying there, lifeless she crawled as best as she could up to the child and realised that she had been killed. Puppet knew that she wouldn't be able to save her or herself, so she crawled next to her and shut down, holding the girl against her. They died together.

Charlotte awoke, she didn't feel human at all and she realised what happened, she had become the soul of the Puppet. She knew that this was a good thing and also a bad thing. It was good because she could finally get her revenge on the man behind her slaughter and she also had a bond with the Puppet, which meant that she had her memories too, she saw the bunny take 5 children into the Parts and Service Room. The Puppet knew she had to check that out immediately. But the bad thing about becoming the Puppet as she could never communicate with a human again, which meant she would never be able to talk or see her family again. 

She travelled down the hallway to get to the Parts and Service Room, and she saw something that she was not expecting. 5 dead bodies of the children that followed the bunny. She knew that these murders was the person that was inside the bunny suit. Their lives were taken away from them so early in time that Puppet knew what she had to do, she had to give them life. She placed each child inside an animatronic, the final one being Cassidy, was placed into an unfamiliar animatronic, it was a golden bear with a black bow tie and hat, Puppet thought that this could be Fredbear but there was something different, the top hat and bow tie were black, but Fredbear had a purple top hat and bow tie. Eventually, all children were placed into an animatronic suit and brought to life. They all followed her instructions, to kill the nightguard. Even though there were 5 extra animatronics out for blood, they couldn't do it, he lasted a week until 6AM but he eventually got fired for tampering with animatronics."
