Scraptrap X Lefty - Hated Love

Part 54 - Distractions and Frustrations

Scraptrap and Lefty were training with Golden Freddy as their tutor to develop their communication skill fully. Scraptrap was getting the hang of it a lot quicker than Lefty, and that was frustrating for her. She had so much more training than Scraptrap and she couldn't explain why he was developing quicker than her. She didn't know why, but Golden Freddy did. Once he felt like they had learnt enough, he dismissed Scraptrap and asked Lefty to stay behind.

Lefty was the first to speak up, "How come he is getting better than me? I have had so much more training, yet I feel like I haven't trained at all."

Golden Freddy listened closely to her, until he answered, "You are frustrated, it is preventing you from doing your best." Lefty just looked at him, wanting to explain further, so he did, "You are mad at Security Puppet and that caused your lack of concentration, you won't learn anything about this skill if you are not fully focused, take a break and we will continue later."

Lefty looked down and began to answer, "I.. It isn't my fault, I still can't believe Security Puppet thought for even 1 second that Scraptrap was being controlling towards me. It's frustrating that he didn't listen to our conversation fully, and even more frustrating that he was even listening to us in the first place." 

"Look at me," Golden Freddy grabbed Lefty's head and faced her towards him, surprising her, "If you continue to think about the negative things, you won't get anywhere with this skill. You defended yourself and Scraptrap, you did the right thing. You shouldn't think about it until Security Puppet is ready to talk to you, because I know for a fact that he will want to. Tell me, how devoted are you about mastering your skill?" Golden Freddy let go of her to let her respond.

"I am fully devoted to doing this."

"You're lying."

"I am trying my best!"

"Thinking about other things than your skill shows you are not fully concentrating on mastering this, or trying your best." Lefty couldn't reply, she knew Golden was right. Was she really trying her best, when she isn't fully concentrating?

"You're right..." Golden Freddy looked at her to continue, "...If I am not concentrating on our lessons, I am not fully devoted. I must stop thinking about other things if I want to succeed and master my communication skill." She said this confidently, motivating herself to do better than what she has done today. Golden Freddy smiled at her, he was always the one that is admired, but this time, he was admiring Lefty, clearly proud of her. 

"We should get back to the storage room, it's almost time." Lefty said, knocking Golden out of his admiration, he nodded and left the room, with Lefty by his side. When they got to the storage room, Molten Freddy and Scrap Baby were already there. "Where's Scraptrap?" Lefty asked.

"I don't know, he was in here but he said he had to do something real quick, he didn't say what, he left before we could ask him what he was doing." Molten Freddy answered. Lefty looked back at the door, she could only think of one thing he was going to do, and she hoped it wouldn't get out of hand. Nobody could stop them if they got aggressive with each other.
