Sent From Above: An Iida Romance

Chapter 2: When We Met

I opened the door to the classroom, ready for new possibilities. There were a few people already in there. There was a man in a yellow cocoon-like sleeping bag. I assumed he was the instructor. There was a yellow haired guy with a black lightning streak. He stared at me for a while like I was a goddess or something. He was talking to a pink girl with horns, a guy with serious red hair, and a guy with tape arms.

I heard the door open and I turned around to see the green haired guy again talking to a girl with brown hair. Behind them walked in a tall, blue haired guy with glasses. He stopped in the doorway and we locked eyes for what seemed like forever. I smiled brightly and waved, but he seemed nervous and had a rosy tint on his cheeks. He immediately shot his arm out, offering me a hand shake.

"Um, Hi! I'm T-Tenya Iida from the Soumei P-Private Academy! ", he announced nervously.

"Oh, pleasure to meet you! I'm Moeru Jonetsu from the Azabu Private Academy in Shanghai!", I replied as I took his hand and shook it firmly.

"Shanghai is a long way from Musutafu. I-If I may ask, how was your experience at Azabu? I've heard great things from there."

"It was fine, actually. I graduated with high honors. I was top of my class with the highest grades along with some awards in academics and competition."

"Ah, I see. W-Well, it's an honor to m-meet you, Moeru. I hope your experience here at UA is the best it can be!", he said a little more calmly.

"I hope so, too. Is there any open seats here?"

"H-here is a seat right beside me. They placed it here yesterday since we were getting a new student, w-which is you, obviously.", he chuckled nervously as he gestured me to a desk.

I thanked him happily and took a seat. I unloaded my papers and books neatly on the desk. As I was about to start reading a novel, the green haired boy approached Iida and I.

"Hey, your the new student, right? I'm Izuku Midoriya, but you can call me Deku!", he greeted me kindly.

"Oh, and I'm Ochaco Uraraka! I'm glad another girl joined the hero course!", the brunette joined in with Deku.

"Nice to meet you both! I'm Moeru!"

"You've met Iida, right? You can hang out with the three of us if you'd like!", Ochaco offered.

"I'd be happy to join you all. You seem like great guys."

The rest of the class started filing in as we conversated. There were some strange students like a guy who has multiple arms coming from his body, a girl who is basically a frog, a guy with a huge tail, and this kid who has balls on his head. He was staring at me for the longest time. I think he's perverted. Finally, all our voices were cut off by a depressed sounding male voice.

"Alright, that's enough talking. Class has begun already. We have a new student joining the class. Jonetsu, I'm Mr. Aizawa. You can present yourself if you want.", he said aloud.

"Yes, sensei.", I replied as I walked to the front.

I introduced myself to everyone, and they seemed welcoming. The frog girl's name was Tsu. She was really kind and sweet like Ochaco. Arm guy's name was Shoji. He's actually not as scary as he seems. Grape boy's name was Mineta. I hated him immediately. After everyone introduced themselves, Mr. Aizawa stood in front of the class.

"Since Moeru is new to the class, were gonna test out her quirk on the field. Put on your training outfits and meet me outside in 10 minutes."

Everyone started leaving the classroom when a girl with a dark ponytail approached me.
