The next few weeks of training went by in the blink of an eye. The Sport Festival was already here. I did my regular morning routine, but I didn't see Iida running. He's probably getting prepared in private possibly because he doesn't wanna fail today.  I put on my training suit and fixed my hair. I have to make a good impression in front of the Pro Heroes if I want to get in a good agency. Before I walked out the door, I got a text message from a random number. It read:

Hey, Moeru! Hope you do your best out there today with Tenya! Good luck and keep my little bro encouraged! -Tensei

I smiled brightly. Tensei is everything anyone could hope for in a brother. I walked out the door happy and confident. I headed into the Class 1-A locker room and started getting ready. Everyone else was getting dressed, warming up, or just barely arriving. I checked my watch. Only 15 minutes until we start and Iida isn't here yet. Someone opened the door and Iida walked in.

"Iida, you're finally here! You ready?", I exclaimed.

"As ready as I'll ever be. I just got off the phone with my parents and Tensei. I reassured them that I wouldn't bring shame on the Iida family name.", he replied.

"I know you won't because you'll do amazing out there.", I said as I embraced him. He was caught off guard, but he accepted my hug. Behind him, I seen Jirou and Tsu giggling and looking at us. I gave them an angry glare and they ran off to the other side of the room. As we broke away from each other, I heard Present Mic's voice echoing outside, making the crowd go wild. I was distracted by a conversation between Todoroki and Deku.  Todoroki was determined to beat Deku at all costs, but Deku was confident and stood up to him. Just before things got ugly, my watch started beeping. It was showtime. Everyone settled down and walked out the door towards the stadium entrance. I heard the crowd yelling and cheering. Then Present Mic started talking again.

"Let's get this party started! Introducing UA's very own Class 1-A!", he announced as we walked in. I looked up at the stands and millions of people yelled and waved. I waved back to the crowd smiling brightly. I noticed one section was filled with Pro Heroes and men in suits. These must be the agency's representatives I thought. We stopped in the middle of the field, turned around, and seen the other classes coming in. I immediately recognized the sleepy purple-haired guy. He was walking with the General Studies Classes. Some of their students seemed interesting to me. I remembered the vine-haired girl as she walked with Class 1-B. The rest of the classes finally finished entering the arena and Ms. Midnight walked onto the stage.

"Now for the introductory speech! And for the student pledge we have Katsuki Bakugo!", she announced. This is gonna go well. He'll embarrass the whole class I thought. He walked up to the stage with his hands stuffed in his pockets. He approached the mic and spoke with a low, confident tone.

"I just wanna say...I'm gonna win", he said. That made everyone upset. All the classes complained and threatened him. He deserves to be beaten to death after what he did. He walked off the stage, Iida yelling and hand chopping at him.

"Without further adieu, lets get started! The first game of the Festival is...the obstacle race!", she exclaimed. She explained the rules, which basically stated as long as we were in the race, we could do whatever we wanted. Everyone went up to the starting line. I felt nervous on the inside, but I remembered what Tensei said and that made me feel a lot better.  The green lights flashed above. 3...2...1...begin! Everyone took off at once, causing all of us to get stuck in the doorway. I pushed and shoved, but it was no use.

"Iida! Where are you?", I yelled but there was no reply. I realized this was part of the test: trying to see how we get out. I shot up and flew out to escape the crowd of students. Todoroki used his ice to break free while Sero used his tape and Bakugo used his flames to rocket through. Everyone else lagged behind slipping on the ice. I was flying for a good few minutes when I heard mechanical noises. The robots from the entrance exam stomped around the course in my way. I activated the flames in my hands and used my wings to spiral me. I shot directly through the robot, causing it to deactivate and collapse, but Todoroki dodged my attack by using his ice to break free once again.

"Moeru Jonetsu from Class 1-A has taken the lead, followed by her classmate, Shoto Todoroki!", Present Mic exclaimed. I heard Kirishima yell, then I heard a loud explosion. He used his quirk to break through the frozen robot. He was followed by an angrier and shiny version of him.

"Eijiro Kirishima and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu with a comeback!", Present Mic yelled. I increased my flying speed when I stopped in front of a chasm with large rock columns inside it. I was thinking about flying over it, but that wouldn't interest the crowd very much, so I decided to fly around the columns and do a few tricks. I shot up and spun in the air when I noticed a pink haired girl with a bunch of gear strapped to her body. A grappling hook shot out from her belt and she used her rocket boots to get across from one column to another. Tsu used the line to jump across the chasm. Todoroki was advancing in front of me, so I finished my little act and flew out of the chasm ahead of him. Bakugo was right on Todoroki's tail, and I was getting a bit worried. I looked up ahead and seen an empty lot.

"Jonetsu, Todorki, and Bakugo are approaching the last obstacle, but beware because underneath the ground lays a huge mine field!", Present Mic said. All I had to do was fly as quick as I could to the finish line and win, but Bakugo and Todoroki were catching up to me. I reached my full speed, still they were right on my heels. There was only one thing I could, so I activated my fire quirk, letting the smoke blind Todoroki and Bakugo, and teleported to the finish line.

"Jonetsu wins the competition with a diversion!", Present Mic announced. The whole crowd cheered for me as I walked out of the entrance. I waved to the audience and they started throwing flowers at me. I caught a daisy and lifted it into the air. That got me a lot of attention. I noticed a little girl in the third row, so I flew up to her and gave the daisy to her. I heard 'awws' rise from the stands, and another cheer started. Shortly after that, the rest of the students arrived. Todoroki got second, Bakugo third, Deku fourth, Kirishima fifth, and Iida sixth. I could tell they were all equally pissed, especially Iida.

I walked up to him with a light smile on my face. "Hey, good job out there, Iida!", I congratulated him.

"Congrats to you as well, Moeru.", he said with an awkward smile. I knew he felt like he didn't do his best, but we still had another competition awaiting us, and this wouldn't be easy.
