If there was one thing you expected from Riven, is that he always kept his word.

That was one thing Sky could always count on, and now Circe knew it too. After the party the other night, she had woken up feeling rather optimistic after her moment with Riven. Not that it was a moment at all romantic. Just a moment in time that occurred that happened to change things between the two. In a totally platonic way. Not at all sexual. Because why would it be? They were only acquaintances. Nothing more, nothing less.

Circe couldn't be any more wrong.

When Riven promised that the next day they would continue being 'sworn enemies', he had meant every word that had dripped from his lips, sweet like honey yet venomous as poison.

The brunette boy was unrelentless. At any chance he had, he would quip with insults directed to the blonde. When Circe would make any attempt to confront him, he'd either ignore her or humiliate her by mocking her of some sort. And Circe was nearing the end of her patience. She'd be fine ignoring him for the rest of the day if she could, but Riven wouldn't allow her, hovering around like a fly you can't get rid off, buzzing in your ear, undermining you.

Attempting to focus on the task at hand, Circe and one of the other first years, named Dane, were fighting on the matte next to the edge of the pond. If she wasn't careful, she'd be falling into it, drenched to the core for the rest of the day. She was aware of Riven's observant gaze on the two, which only fueled her more to prove him wrong.

As Circe went to do a high-kick, Riven raised his eyebrows, addressing Dane "Sweep the leg!"

The dark-skinned boy followed his advice, and following suite, Circe grunted as her body slammed against the ground, knocking the wind out of her lungs. Riven smirked down at her as she glared towards him, remaining laid down for a few seconds.

Sky, who had been watching lazily as he squinted his eyes against the brightness of the sun, nudged Riven. "Do you have to be such a dick to my sister?"

"Someone has to, to prevent her from getting too egotistical."

Sky rolled his eyes, pausing as he saw Stella in the distance before smiling at Riven. "You'd think that if you hated her that much you'd do anything to spend less time by her side, not more."
