Camila,

So he's really getting married? I'm happy for him, y'know. I just wish he would tell me about stepping down from the throne, I can't deal with the overthinking.

I was about to send a letter last night when I got the invitation. Someone stopped me but I wish I did send it, so he knew how I fuc- bloody hurt I am.

Short letter but I need to go, I'm with friends doing some work. I love you and take care.

Rosanna <3

"Why is Malfoy coming up to us?" Ginny asked, making me look up from my journal.

I turned around to see a certain blonde walking up the hill. "I have no clue," Kaia and Hermione shrugged in unison.

"I need to talk to you," he said, staring at me.

I blinked a couple of times as I blocked the sun from hitting my eyes with my face. "Me?" I asked.

"Does it look like they're of any fucking interest, right now?" He snapped, pointing to the three girls that were staring interestingly.

"Uh- Okay...?" I replied, standing up. He began to walk away and I shrugged my shoulders as I looked at my friends before jogging after him.

We stopped by a tree which gave a perfect view of everyone sitting on the grass. "What?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"I thought about your little problem and I want to help you," he said.

I stared at him confusingly. "With your 'royal' issues," he sighed, shaking his head as if I'm meant to know what he's talking about.

"Merlin- Not that you remember but when you were off the charts drinking your sorrows away, you mentioned something about an engagement if your brother steps down from the throne," he explained.

I leaned against the tree, "Not that it's any of your business but do go on." He rolled his eyes, "I take you to the ball."

I blinked a couple of times before bursting into laughter. "You're serious?" I asked, calming down.

"Yes. I take you, meaning your pick-me boyfriend is no more. Your parents see you're 'in love' and won't need to set you up. That gives you time to figure this bullshit out," he said.

"What's in it for you? I don't believe you're doing this out of the kindness of your heart," I scoffed.

He nodded his head, plastering a smirk. "I want you to invite my family to the wedding AND coronation," he finished.

"I'll think about it," I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

"Don't take too long, yeah?" He said, rolling his eyes. I walked over and smacked his cheek lightly, "Don't tell a princess what to do."

With that being said, I walked back over to my friends. I was a little confused why Malfoy wanted to be my date, I don't believe for a second it's because of his family reputation which is so obviously what he was implying.

But who knows...

"What the hell was that about?" Hermione asked once I sat down. "Threatened me so I could give him my potions notes, don't worry," I chuckled.

They shrugged and went back to their work. "So, Hermione, are you calmer now?" Kaia asked.

"Of course, I was totally overreacting last night. Out of character. Sorry if I scared you two," she chuckled lowly, looking at Kaia and I.

I snorted as I waved her off, "Don't worry! That was entertaining, reminded me of my old school."

"Speak for yourself! Hermione is a calm, collected girl. I thought she was possessed," Kaia scoffed, shivering at the thought.

The four of us chuckled as we thought about Hermione being possessed. "Please tell me I'm seeing things and Blaise Zabini is not coming over," Kaia groaned.

I looked back to see that Blaise was indeed coming over. "Hey, Rosanna! Mind if we talk for a second?" He asked, smiling.

"Rosanna getting all the Slytherin's whilst Hermione fights for her man," Ginny snorted, earning a glare from both Hermione and I.

"Of course," I smiled up at him and got up. I turned around to tell the girls something but they beat me to it. "We know, you'll be right back," Kaia waved me off.

I shrugged and walked over to Blaise who was standing a few feet away. "What's up?" I asked with a smile.

He's the only Slytherin that hasn't been rude to me since I've been here. He's not a bad person for company either.

"I was wondering if you'll attend Slughorn's Christmas party with me?" He asked, taking me by surprise.

"You don't have to, I just can't find anyone that's bothered to go. It's alright if you have a date," he says, running his hand on the back of his neck.

I shook my head, "No, no. Of course, I don't mind. I'm not bothered to find someone either so it should be good."

He shot me a smile and gave me a fist bump. "Thanks, I'll see you then," he smiles as he walks over to his friends.

I walked back over to my friends and sat down. "Am I a Slytherin magnet or something?" I asked, making them giggle.

"What happened?" Hermione asked.

"He asked if I would come with him to Slughorn's Christmas thing," I explained.

"You said...?" Kaia dragged out, waiting for an answer. "Yes, I'm honestly not bothered to find a guy to come with me," I shrugged.

They all blinked but didn't say anything bad. "Blaise is alright, he's not as bad as the lot of them," Ginny shrugged, making me feel a little better.

-

That evening, I was in the library with August trying to help him with DADA. "How are you head of us?" He asked, groaning at the work.

"No clue! Ask Snape," I shrugged.

"I was thinking, do you and Kaia want to go Hogsmeade this weekend?" He asked.

I haven't been to Hogsmeade yet, actually, so I wouldn't mind. "Sure, Saturday? It'll be less busy," I asked.

"Perfect," he replied.

I leaned over to read his next question when wind brushed past me. I looked up to see Malfoy, Blaise and the other guy - Theo - walk past me onto a table.

"August, I'll be right back. Keep working on that," I told him before getting up and walking over to the three Slytherins.

They all looked up at me, Malfoy and Theo plastering smirks. "Save it!" I snapped, holding a hand to shush Theo.

"You. Follow," I pointed at Malfoy and walked over to the stack of books.

"What?" He asked, leaning against the wall.

"I'll do it!" I exclaimed, crossing my arms. "Cool, couldn't you have told me this later?" He asked, puffing air out.

I shook my head, "No. Meet me at our spot on Saturday around 12." He rose a brow and put on a smirk, "We have a spot now?"

"Wha- Shut up! Don't be late," I snapped, slapping his chest.

With that being said, I walked back to my table. If he wanted to do this then he was going to do it properly.
