"I don't think I'm ready for the mocks," Hermione stressed, biting her nails.

"Relax! You're smarter than all of us here, you'll be fine," August chuckled, placing a hand on her shoulder.

She nodded and grabbed her book, going through last-minute studying.

We had our mocks for our NEWTs today and everyone was stressed. I personally don't understand, it's a mock, not the real thing.

"What do we have today?" Ron asked, walking over to us.

"What do we- Are you serious? Goodness, Ronald, you might as well walk in there with a loaf of bread," Hermione sighed.

Ron was taken back but Kaia waved her hand, signalling him to go away.

"Charms!" I yelled out to Ron who gave me a thankful smile.

"Don't look now but icebergs entering," Kaia coughed.

I turned around to see the freshly new couple walking in, hand-in-hand. Astoria and Draco announced they were dating a little over a week ago.

It made my blood boil but I got over it. If a man- a boy, can run to a girl that fast after hurting you then he never cared for you the slightest.

"Ugh, I don't care but them mixed with PDA is not it," August gagged.

I noticed they were making out by the door. "Cut it out!" Kaia snapped.

"It's fine, guys. Honestly, I'm-"

"Shit! The doors are opening, come on," Hermione cried.

I chuckled and zipped my bag, placing it next to Hermione's and walking over with Kaia and August.

"Do you think there will-"

Kaia was cut off as I accidentally bumped into someone. "Shit, my ba-" I looked up to see Draco, rubbing his arm.

"It's fine, don't worr-"

"Come on, guys. Bad luck is something we don't need right now," I blankly stated, shoving past him.

I took in a deep breath and walked over to my assigned seat. I walked past Harry who looked asleep, Ron was fiddling with his fingers and Hermione was cracking her knuckles.

I took my seat in front of Hermione. "Good luc-" I was cut off by her shushing me which made me giggle a little.

Once everyone was seated, Dumbledore walked up. "You have two hours and 15 minutes to complete this test. If you speak, you will be disqualified. You may begin," he announced.

I flipped open my page and sighed as I grabbed my quill and began writing. The test was fairly easy, I studied a lot for these mocks despite them not being real - you never know.
