BetterTogether | Noah B & Dixie D

Part Ten

As much as Dixie wanted to lay next down to Noah, she saw him sitting inbetween Larray and Chase. She tried to ignore her sad feeling that was creeping up on her, it didn't make sense at all, and she knew that. She plopped down next to Charli, giving her a look. Charli rolled over, 'you look happy, did something happen?' Ofcourse Charli couldn't miss Dixie's bright smile on her face, hiding it didn't really succeed. ' no, well maybe yes, if u are nice to me I'll tell u later about it' She teased to Charli.  She shrugged and left Dixie sitting alone. 'More snacks?' James asked to Charli who what standing in front of them. 'Yeah I'll get sum'.

They finished the movie and decided to snuggle in. It was 2:14 AM and Charli had already passed, leaning on James's shoulder.

Dixie turned back to her left, facing the wall as she wished them goodnight.

Noah on the other hand turned off the TV screen and stared at her. The whole movie he couldn't stop thinking about her, as much as he wanted to, just maybe for 2 minutes. She drove him crazy, without even realizing it. He took a step to the left, while realizing Dixie was laying all alone. He bit his nails trying to decide what to do, standing inbetween Chase and Larri who where probably already sleeping, he assumed. Everyone was sleeping, and he knew that she was still here because of her hand tapping on her leg, but still facing away from him. He grabbed his blanket and walked over the others, on his tippytoes. He kneeled down as he reached Dixie, softly patting her shoulder. 'Can i please lay next to u?' He whispered in her ear. She slowly rolled over, their faces were now inches apart. 'yes'.

He softly layed down, lifting up her blanket and  shuffling right next to her, while asking for permission. While turning around she softly nodded. She was so warm, cozy and her skin felt like soft cotton. Noah stared at her for a quick second before she opened her eyes and met his. She moved closer as her hand disappeared under his hoodie, padding his back. They didn't say anything, their silence already told a story of thousands of words. He slowly laid his hand on her waist, making sure he didn't do anything she wasn't feeling comfortable with. They layed separated from the others, adoring eachother. The butterflies in both bellies went as crazy as they possibly could. She could feel a warm feeling entering her heart, as there lips met again. They longed for eachother. Dixie carefully pulled away, before pecking his forehead and snuggling up into his chest, fully covered under their blanket.

Cuddling him felt different than she had ever excperienced. She felt how much he cared, even through touch.

The feeling that they gave eachother was indescribable. Even their touch made them flutter from the inside. Noah's mind was slowly drifting of, before he tought about the possible things that could happen after tonight. What if they find out? What if he did something wrong?  What if Dixie's family didn't accept him? Those and hundreds of more thoughts rushed through his mind. He felt himself becoming nervous and insecure. But the moment he felt Dixie moving in his arms he knew that he didn't have to worry anymore. It was all about her, nothing else mattered anymore at this point. Just the girl he kept safe in his arms.
