Part Two

Her first week back in Connecticut was great. She visited family, saw her friends and prepared for her graduation. She felt happy, finally. She did forgot to text Griffin when she landed, but she didn't care.

But she was hoping to get a text from him, just to let her know how he was doing. Instead of that she got a text from the nuggies.

Noah: hey dix, I hope that ur graduation tomorrow is going to be great, well I know it is <3 see you soon

Curtiss: yess we miss you so much, have fun and come back ASAP !

Dixie: awh :) i miss u guys to! See ya soon

Dixie smiled at her phone, this was exactly what she needed. This friend group started this summer, Curtis, Noah and Dixie became very good friends after hanging out at the hypehouse for the past weeks. They called themselves the nuggies. Dixie knew that Griffin didn't like it, but she didn't really care. They made her happy, along with her other good friends.

She sighed, and looked at Charli. It was the day before graduation and they just had lunch. ' I've never realized that ur room is actually so cool' Charli said, laying on Dixie's  bed. Dixie's head snapped to her and smirked. 'Well it has always been better than yours...' Dixie said. 'What?!? I-' Charli couldn't finish her sentence, her phone started to blow up. Dixie looked up to her weirdly, she always had her notifications off. She sighed and grabbed her own phone. They both looked at their screen for 10 seconds before looking eachother in the eyes. Charli jumped out of bed and sat down next to Dixie. ' This can't be true, it must be a rumour or joke or something' She said while looking at the TikTok from a girl, that apparently said that Griffin was cheating on Dixie with multiple girls. She broke down, crying in Charlis arms and telling her she didn't want to do this anymore. 'Why.... why me?' She asked with a cry in her voice. Charli saw her sister completely breaking down.

They talked for what felt like hours. Even tho Charli was younger and maybe didn't have that much experience, she was there for her. Dixie told her about their relationship and how he used to treat her. Charli was upset and dissapointed. After a while Griffin called. Dixie was scared to pick up, she hesitated for a second but Charli nodded ad her and signed that she should do it.

After arguing wich made Dixie even more sad, she told him they were done. Before he could say anything she hung up. It was 1.33 AM and she totally forgot that tommorow was the day. The day she had been waiting for what felt like forever.

She stumbled upstairs and broke down on her bed. Her heart felt broken and she couldn't function anymore. She needed someone. Then suddenly her phone started buzzing. She sighed and slowly took it from her nightstand.

Noah: dixie..... how are u? can u please talk to us?

Curtiss: (read)

Dixie: hi. I'm ok. Thanks for asking. How r u

Dixie lied. She wasn't 'ok' but she didn't want to make them feel bad. Especially Noah, she knew how much he cared. He did that to anyone, he was a sweatheart. She loved him as a friend. He was always there for her, more that Griffin anyway.
