"Did you get all that?"

You blinked slowly a couple times before raising your head to look at your guitar teacher.

"Huh?" you mumbled, not hearing a word of what was just said to you.

Slash laughed and you snapped back to attention quickly, a slight blush rising to your cheeks.

"Sorry," you said, ducking your head in embarrassment. This was your first time meeting Slash, who had generously agreed to teach you guitar, something you'd wanted to learn for ages. However, when your friend Steven had said he could set you up with a guy who could teach you, he had failed to mention how fucking beautiful Slash was. The boy was drop dead gorgeous. You were going to have a stern talking to with Steven about his lack of preparing you to meet with a literal angel.

Slash had been going over basic chords with you for the past twenty minutes, but you were finding it a little difficult to focus on his fingers and words instead of his stunning face. You tried your best to keep up, but obviously had lost concentration.

"It's okay," he said. "I know I'm not the best teacher." He looked a little sheepish.

"No," you said hurriedly, trying to reassure him. "It's not that. It's just a lot of information to take in I guess."

Slash nodded understandingly and plucked haphazardly at the guitar a bit. "Maybe we can try something different then," he said.

"Like what?" you asked, though you knew you'd be willing to do anything he suggested.

"Here," he said, handing the acoustic over to you. "Take this. Let me see you try to play an F major."

You hesitantly took the guitar and settled it on your lap. You were a bit nervous to play in front of him. You were both sat on the loveseat in his small apartment living room and you looked around the room, trying your best to remember how to play the chord. Eventually, you placed your fingers on the frets you thought they should go on.

"Good," he said. "Just move your middle finger up a string."

You did as he said and readjusted your hand. After a short nod of approval from Slash, you attempted to strum. It didn't sound too bad, but it wasn't as great as what Slash had shown you earlier. Although you had been distracted by his handsome complexion, it was impossible not to take notice of his amazing guitar skills.

"Press down a little harder and try again," he suggested.

You tried again and were pleased to hear that it actually did sound better. Still not as good as when Slash had played it, but still good. Matching grins broke out on both your faces at the sound of your success.

"Perfect," he said, sounding genuinely excited for you. "Now try a C chord."

You once again placed your hand on the frets and looked up to him for approval. Slash flashed you a smile when your eyes met his, which once again caused your face to heat up.

"Move your pointer finger over one," he instructed.

You moved your finger over to the right one. You must have done something wrong though because Slash then shook his head. He pursed his lips for a moment, trying to think of how to explain it to you. Then, before you really had any idea as to what was going on, he was moving on the couch to sit behind you. You froze as he wrapped his arm around you and placed his hand over yours. Still quite shocked, you didn't say anything as he moved your fingers to the correct placement.

"That's a C," he said.

His voice could be felt on the side of your neck and it sent shivers down your spine. Slash had yet to let go of your hand and the touch was absolutely electrifying. You just hoped that he could feel it too.

You cleared your throat nervously before responding. "Oh," you said. "Thanks."

Slash still didn't move his hand. He carefully picked up your fingers and, one by one, moved them along the neck of the instrument to the position of the next chord.

"This one's a B," he said. His voice was quieter now, close to a whisper.

You swiveled your head around, about to say something, but the words got stuck in your throat when you found yourself nose to nose with Slash. Neither of you moved. You were both frozen, staring intently into the other's eyes as if caught in some kind of trance. After a few moments, he broke eye contact to glance down at your lips. You nodded in some form of approval, telling him to continue. There couldn't have been more than a centimeter of air between the two of you, but it felt like hours before he closed the gap between you.

Kissing him was exactly like you had thought it would be like. His lips were full and soft and fit against yours perfectly. He was gentle, his touch soft. He only began to kiss you harder and with more passion after you reached up and cupped his face lightly in your hand.

The kiss was broken much too soon for your liking. You could have continued kissing him for a lifetime. You pulled your hands away quickly and looked back down to the guitar in your lap, feeling coy.

"Sorry," you mumbled, afraid that, to Slash, the kiss had been just something done in the heat of the moment.

"For what?" he asked.

You looked up to see him offering you a toothy smile.

"I thought that was great," he continued, reassuring you. "In fact, if you don't mind that is, I'd like to do it again sometime."

Your expression changed to match his as his words reached your ears.

"I definitely don't mind," you said, giggling a little. "As long as you keep teaching me guitar," you added in a teasing manner.

"Deal," Slash said, nodding his head enthusiastically. "We have a deal."
