After 3rd period is over, Salsabeel and I walk over to Aidens lockers. "Hey" Salsa turns to Aiden. He greets her with a smile and they both turn towards me. "What?" It takes me a while to notice they aren't looking at me, but behind me. I finally turn my head and what I see mutes me.
"Woah" I hear a few people say as they take in the view. "Woah" is exactly what I would say if I could actually form words. It's weird but cool seeing a bunch of new kids. we don't get them often due to the area we live in. That's sorta why we are all shocked, but I wonder why they didn't just come yesterday, to be fair it was the first day of school.
After that "shocking" moment, I head to lunch and I wait for salsa and Aiden to join me. I see them walk towards me and I immediately stand up and we walk to the lunch line. I glance over at them and I smile. "You can have two fruit cups if you want" The lunch lady smiles and I grab another fruit cup filled with grapes and strawberries. Weird combo, I guess. Salsa and I walk back to our lunch table and she starts to babble about something, I'm not one hundred percent sure on what that may be but I nod and eat my food. "Wow guys, you totally left me" Aiden finally joins us and I look up at him "You were taking way to long, we only have thirty minutes of lunch" Salsa smiles and I let out a brief laugh..
"Ninth and Tenth graders may leave" The principal shouts threw the mic.
"Ugh already we just got here" Salsa complains.
"Salsa we've been here for 35 minutes" I sigh.
"Whatever" She shrugs and her and I part from Aiden.
We walk to class and Bella stops the two of us.
"Uh hey, can I talk to you for a minute" She smiles and points at me.
"Uh I'll see you in there" Salsa walks into the classroom and says something funny to our favorite teacher Mr. P.
"I think I should be in there I don't wanna skip class or anyth-"
"I'm sorry" She cuts me off.
"Bella you don't have to apologize to me. We only met yesterday" I give my best fake smile and attempt to walk into my class. "I know but I shouldn't have called you a twit" she returns a smile. A what?? I burst into laughter because I have no clue on what she's talking about. "Wow how did you manage to call me all these names in two days" I laugh and she looks so confused. "Wait, so you didn't know..."
"No you "twit" I mock her.
"Ugh whatever" She laughs and I smile at her.
Its really silent between the two of us so I break the silence " Uh I should get to class" I smile and point to the classroom door. "Yea, yea, right. Uhh I should probably get to my class too" Her laughter slowly fades into a smile and I open the classroom door to find Salsa, Mr. P, and a couple of other rodents near the door listening to what I was doing.
"nerds" I laugh
