Caitlyn's POV
So that happened.
" Caitlyn you little slut I saw you wrote your number on Christopher's hand! I mean I think he's a bit cocky but if that's your type-"
" Woah no way- he was super arrogant and seemed pretty full of himself. He practically made me give him my number Jess what was I supposed to do!" I said as we walked away from the double backstage doors and towards to front entrance. My shoes stuck to the wooden dance floor, probably from all the spilt alcohol and sweaty dancing. What a night. I couldn't stop replaying the images of Harry on stage. Even during my conversation with the other boys before Harry came in, I felt like I couldn't fully focus on anything else.
" Well Chris definitely fancied you. He's a huge player though, Philip told me he takes home a different girl every night." She sighed as we left the club and the cold night air hit us. We walked further down the sidewalk to catch a cab.
" Nope not for me, I just got here and I'm not about to get wrapped up with any guys right away." It's true, I've always been the single one out of my friend group and I honestly always preferred it that way. I knew moving to England would be a new step for me but I want to make sure I can be independent first.
" Ok, whatever you say. But I know Harry was definitely checking you out the entire time. I was watching you two the whole time!" She screeched as she hailed a taxi. We both pilled into the back seat " Morris Ave please"
Since I was always the single friend growing up, I also lost a lot of self confidence when it came to guys. Sure I'd have hook ups here and there, but when they'd compliment me or tell me I had a great body I'd never believe it. It's something I'd never tell my friends or family about because I knew they'd pity me, but it was definitely something I needed to work on.
" Jess you're delusional. He probably thought I was some super fan that you snuck in to meet him. I felt like I was so awkward! Like as soon as he came in I felt like I couldn't speak." It's true, it was overwhelming. I mean I had never met the guy and I was already falling apart. I've never been like that around guys.
" Well I can assure you that he does like you, you wanna know why?" She exclaimed. " He specifically asked me if you and I could be able to make it to the boys concert after party next weekend!!!"
No way
"What? Why would he want us to go, we just met him" I said in shock
" I don't know but you were the one having the conversation with him so clearly you caught his eye. Ahh I'm so excited I've never been to a band after party"
" Neither have I. I'm sure he was just being polite I mean he knows that you and Philip are uh—-friends so I guess he's just trying to be nice." I knew Jess had a thing going on with Philip and I'm sure Harry had caught on too so I guess that's why he invited us.
" Ok why does everyone think Philip and I are a thing?! We've only hooked up a couple times" Jess replied and I nearly choked on my spit
" Jess!! I knew it!" I replied as I saw our taxi drive laugh in the rear view mirror
" What it's not like we're dating or anything!" She laughed
" Yet!" I replied
" Oh shut up Caitlyn" she laughed as we pulled up to our apartment and shuffled out of the taxi
" So are we going to go dress shopping tomorrow or what?" Jess smiled as we walked up to the entrance to our building
I couldn't wait till the weekend
Sorry shorter chapter but next chapters gonna be so good ahhh!!
