Remus picked Harry up and ran to the pub where Lily, James and Sirius were. His footsteps thundering as he sprinted up the street. He approached the pub when Lily, James and Sirius were exiting. Lily was laughing her head off at James and Sirius who were both drunk.
Lily turned around to see Remus standing there panting carrying Harry in his arms. She rushed over and took Harry out of his arms to gasp at the scar on his forehead. Remus recounted what happened less than half an hour ago. As Remus explains what happened, James sprints home to find Harry's bedroom window broken and burnt. He smashes down the door and pelts up the stairs to find Harrys bedroom destroyed but no body. Remus explained how Peter had been killed but then where was the body. Then out of no where, James hears a scream.
"Lily..." he whispered and sprinted back out the door and up the street.
It was worse than he could have ever imagined. Remus had forgotten about the full moon and turned into a werewolf. He had attacked Lily. She was bleeding on the floor and Sirius was trying to stop the bleeding. Remus ran into the forest. Harry was laying on the floor crying.
Remus had forgotten about the full moon so James agreed he wasn't gonna blame him. Lily left St. Mungo's the next day to return to Harry flying on his broom in the living room. Remus and Sirius were sitting watching him and James was in the kitchen wearing a 'kiss the cook' apron with a tray of cookies in his hand. Harry zoomed around Lily as she walked into the living room.
"Welcome back, Evans!" Sirius greeted her.
"It's actually Potter, Sirius!" she replied. James grinned.
"I'm awfully sorry Lils..." Remus began.
"Do not continue Remus, It's alright," Lily interrupted.
"COOKIES!" James shouted from the kitchen.
They all ran into the kitchen even Harry except he was on the broom.
