On the 2nd of November, Remus arrived to discuss with James and Lily about Sirius's surprise party. Sirius had left for an order mission and wouldn't return until tomorrow morning, he would turn up at the Potters to be welcomed by a huge party.
"No, we have to do 'The Beatles'," Lily insisted.
"Does he even like them?" Remus questioned.
"Yes in fact he does so let's do it," Lily begged.
"Alright!"
As Remus left to head home, the couple walked back into the living room. Harry was looking up at them with happiness in his eyes.
"Hiya Harry!" James began.
"Dada..." Harry said.
James didn't cry or shout or laugh but grinned at Lily and scooped Harry into his arms. Lily stood in the doorway smiling at them.
Then like a flash of light, their front door smashed into pieces. Lily rushed over to James.
"Go Lily NOW!" James shouted. "Take Harry and apparate out of hear, QUICK!"
Lily didn't think twice. She kissed James and ran to the back door, she ran into the garden and apparated but not before she saw James, wand in hand, battle Voldermort and then she was gone
