Once they arrived back at the Pixie Dust Tree, the queen turned to Adelaide at asked her once again,
"So... what's your talent young one?" Adelaide, who now understood, walked around. Passing all the talents she saw and content on picking the right one. But secretly, she was still a bit confused and worried; what use were these 'talents' to a fairy with a broken wing.
After I while she admitted her feelings of uncertainty and concern to her, "Oh, well... that's okay" she reassured.
"I just wish I can try some or a little of everything," she said sadly, lowering her head.
"Well, thankfully—you can now!"
"Really?"
She could see that out of the corner of her eye, the crowd was getting testy. "What! You NEVER gave us that option" one fairy protested hotly.
"Yes, that's true" Queen Clarion said, calmly. "But... this is somewhat different than what you all went through" She turned her attention back to Adelaide.
"Now Adelaide, you wish you can try all these?"
"Ummm, yes ma'am"
"Than so be it! Don't be overwhelmed but... all the talent mentors are going to come up to you in just a little bit okay"
"O- okay" she replied, a hint of doubt and uncertainty in her voice.
Just then all of the talent orbs came at Adelaide, some floated fast and some floated at a slightly slower rate but nevertheless, they still came, finally settling an inch to two above her head making a big rainbow design above her.
Everyone in the crowd sat in awe of her, secretly jealous of her as well—jealously and envy were written on all their faces, some even had their arms crossed and murmuring could be heard throughout the crowd.
"Not fair..." whispered one. Mostly some sat in silents either mumbling to themselves or whispering and complaining to others. "How's she gonna be a "talent name" fairy with a broken wing?" Some were even curious as to how she was gonna go about doing it. Vidia, herself was extra curious. "I wonder how she going to be a Fast-Flying Fairy with a broken wing?" she whispered to the other Fast-Flyers somewhat snobbishly.
