Adelaide's Prospective
I sat silently crying and thinking at how stupid and useless I was, what good is a fairy with a broken wing anyway? In what way am I of any use? Any use here, let alone anywhere? I thought hot and bitterly, eyes full of tears.
Just then, I felt a little breeze on the upper part of my back, upon looking up I saw someone in a bark purple leaf-like pointed dress flying towards me, I was put at ease, calmly standing, I started to wave; until I came to the realization that she was flying faster than any known fairy had ever flown before.
I was sitting by the bank of a small stream, my knees pulled up to my chest when I hear a faint sound whisper my name softly in my ear. On the third "Adelaide" I looked up slowly; There standing before me was the whippet-like fairy in her signature purple dress.
"What do you want!?!" I said hotly.
"Well... Tink sent me to-- apologize, to you"
"Oh, she did, did she?"
"Yes, she did. So... do you forgive me now or what?"
"No, I don't. You haven't exactly apologized yet"
"Hmmm... okay" she sighed. "Adelaide, I'm very sorry for saying you could not be a Fast-Flying fairy because of your broken wing," she said somewhat sarcastically, and though her teeth were clenched-- she still managed to choke and gag on her last little bit of words.
