Chapter 19
A BIG Mistake

"She fucking drugged me!" I found a stack of pills on her dresser.

I went through her drawers looking for anything suspicious when I found pictures of me, as in stalking me.

"I have a feeling she didn't go to see Eren"

I grabbed my phone and keys and rushed out the door the find myself on the steps of an apartment in New York City, surrounded by many people.

I noticed there was a doctors office right down the road so I rushed in and spoke to the lady at the front desk.

"Hello sir, how may I help you?"

"Um hi yes I need to know if doctor Jaeger is in today?"

"Yes he is, do you have an appointment?"

"Um no I just need to speak to him NOW"

"Alright sir, please calm down, I will call him down here"

"Oh Levi...What do you want?" He raised an eyebrow and pulled out a cigarette as we stepped outside.

"Want one?" He handed me one and lit it.

"Where is Eren?" I skipped past small talk.

"He's at home...with his new GIRLFRIEND!"

"G-Girlfriend?"

"Yes, her name is Isabelle, She's the daughter of my boss" He snickered.

"No, you liar! Eren would never cheat on me!"

"Like you cheated on him?" He pulled out the pictures of last night.

"Where the hell did you get those?"

"My daughter...She's a member of the CIA, she could get away with anything."

"Tch, you a disgusting old man, now tell me where Eren is RIGHT NOW or so help me god I'll-"

"Or you'll do what? Kill me? Take my money? Screw both my children again?"

"Shut. The. Hell. UP!"

"Look kid, I hate you, I honestly do, so stay away from both my kids while they're happy"

"They're not happy, your forcing them to be happy"

"Same thing, happiness is nothing but a mere emotion. Now if you excuse me, I must get back to my patients" He threw his cigarette on the ground and went back inside.

I could feel my knees wear out, I fell to my knees and sobbed as if something dear to me had died, well it technically did. Who knows when I would get to see Eren again.
