Last man standing

So tonight is supposed to be the last time Dominik and I are going to be facing each other. This time it's a last man standing match but the result will be the same with me coming out as the victor. So I don't understand the point of this match.
Time skip to match
Announcer- This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first the challenger weighing in at 200 pounds Dominik Mysterio

Announcer- And his opponent weighing in at 205 pounds the Archer Ethan Bourne

Narrators POV
The outside of the ring was filled with all types of weapons like kendo sticks to barbed wired bats.
Ethan and Dominik went to the outside and started filling the ring with chairs, bats, kendo sticks, tables, ladders. Basically anything they could find out there. When they both got back inside Dom hit a tilt-a-whirl arm drag onto a stack of chairs. Ethan got back up and grabbed and kendo stick a teed off on Dom hitting him on the back, face and stomach. Ethan then grabbed a chair and hit a leg drop with the chair under him. Ethan tried to hit a con chair to but Dom rolled out of the way and hit a dropkick. Dom went to the top and hit a diving crossbody onto some ladders. Dom set up a ladder in the corner and irished whipped Ethan into the ladder. Mysterio hit a belly to belly into the ladder. Dom shouted at the ref to start counting and the ref did exactly that. The ref got to the count of five before Ethan got up. Dom went for a kick but Ethan caught it and hit a kick to the inner thigh of Dominik. Ethan hit a enziguri before setting up the table. Ethan lit the table on fire and tried to put Dom through. Dom quickly reversed it.
Eom
Ethan and Dom were fighting on top of the ladder before Rey ran in and hit a chair shot to the back of Bourne. Dom took advantage of this and hit a sunset flip powerbomb off the top of the ladder through a table. Ethan crawled to the ropes but he was quickly met with a double 619 and frog splash. The ref started the count. Ethan finally got up at the count of 8 only to be met with a bay to the stomach and a kendo stick to the back. Rey set a chair down and hit a ddt onto the chair cutting Ethan open. Once again the ref started the count. Ethan got up at the last second and hit a double ddt. Ethan went to the outside and grabbed a pair of handcuffs and handcuffed Rey and Dominik to the bottom rope. Ethan taunted in both Rey and Doms face. Dom tried to kick Ethan in the gut but Ethan easily moved back.
Ethan- I told you I will win.
The ref counted to ten signaling the end of the match. Ethan walked out of the ring with a happy smile on his face.
