Chapter 4

Luna

“Before all of you get your assigned rooms, I'm Argenti Seton, headmaster of Crosswind Academia” Headmaster Seton introduced himself.

“To get to your assigned rooms, you have to follow the person I assigned  to all of you,  of course, it's by elements. For those who have Element of Fire, Follow Marcus.

Element of Water will follow Chris,

Element of Air will follow Damien,

Element of Nature will follow Rick,

Element of Light will follow Christal,

Element of Darkness will follow Dianna,

And lastly, for those who's a Dual-wielder, follow Simon.” Headmaster Seton said.

I walked to headmaster and tapped his shoulder, turning his attention on me.

“Um, headmaster? I don't really know who should I follow.” I said trailing off.

“I've read Damien's report and your case is truly unusual. Tell me child, what is your name?” headmaster Seton asked.

“My name is Luna Estella Williams, headmaster.” I said smiling.

“Well Luna, there's a vacant room at the North corridor, the fourth door.” headmaster said after thinking for a while.

“Thank you headmaster.” I said, bowing then headed to where headmaster told me to go. Carrying my luggage, I reached the fourth door on the North corridor where I'll be staying.

As I held the door knob, the door on my right opened abruptly and and a man not older than me walked out.

“Hello?” I said to him then took my bags from the ground and halfway inside the room, the man stopped me.

“Halt, what are you doing here? This corridor is forbidden.” the man said with s cold tone, looking at me accusingly.

“I'm sorry for the confusion, I guess. Headmaster said that this will be my room.” I said trailing off while fiddling my hands, the bag I was carrying no longer on my hands and now on the ground.

I heard someone grumbling, I looked behind me and saw the man walking away.

“What's with him?” I said to myself and finally head inside my new room.

Looking around the room, there's a queen size bed, a mirror on the wall, a few indoor plants here and there, a walk-in closet and a bathroom.

“Damn.” I whispered. “It is beautiful, but still needs decorating and rearranging.”

I opened the walk in closet and arranged my clothes, jewelries, bow and arrows, daggers, swords, and a pair of twin blades.

After that, I put my necessities on the cabinet inside the bathroom and rearranged the plants.

It's already 8 P.M. when I finished decorating/rearranging the room. Someone knocked on my door and when I opened it, I saw a woman in her 40's.

“Hi, how can I help you?” I said smiling at her, she smiled back at me

“The dinner is ready dear.” she said, leading me towards the dining hall, she left me alone but not before saying goodbye.

I saw Dexter with some guys that I think he met today, but before I even take a step towards him, headmaster called me.

I walked towards their table where many people sitting with headmaster, and their aura emits raw power.

“Good evening, ladies and gentleman.” I said bowing at them.

“You called me, headmaster?” I raised a brow at him.

“Sit here and eat with us.” he said gesturing the seat beside the rude man which I just realized that he is next to me. I nodded and sat beside the rude man. But I caught a glimpse of headmaster with a mischievous grin on his lips while looking at the rude man beside me while the man beside me just glares at him. I just shrugged it off.

A woman set a plate in front of me and I take some food that is already on the table. I ate while having a decent conversation with the people around me who's much, much older than me except for the rude man beside me who's name I still don't know, for he never talked throughout the dinner.

He looks like he's lost in thought.

After I finish eating, I excused myself and headed to where Dexter is.

“Yo.” I said tapping his right shoulder. He looked at me from his shoulder and stopped eating to face me.

“Oh? You done eating already?” he asked me and I nodded.

“Yeah. I'm here to just say goodnight.” I said, then hugged him telling him goodnight.

“Alright, goodnight Luna.” he said then continued eating.

I headed to my room and fell asleep unaware of the eyes that is gazing at me throughout Dexter and I's conversation.
