Chapter 8

Luna

It's currently evening right now and I'm currently laying down on my bed while caressing Imperium's eggshell who's nest is beside my bed.

"This day is so taxing. I didn't think my schedule would be this tiring." I said to Imperium then sighed.

It's currently 9 p.m. so I headed to my wardrobe and took a gray shirt and black baggy sweatpants, I headed to the bathroom and took a hot shower.

"I'll be back, Imperium. Wait for me." I said a kissed the base of Imperium's eggshell.

I went outside my room and closed the door behind me. But before I leave, I heard the door beside my room open.

"Oh, good evening, Chirstan." I said smiling at him but he just grunted and walked ahead.

I followed behind him, towards the dining hall. As I was walking, I got curious and looked up and observed the carvings and paintings on the hall walls. I kept on looking up without knowing that the person in front of me stopped. I bumped into him and I slowly looked at him, but he's already looking at me.

"I'm sorry!" I said bowing 90°.

"Watch where you're going next time. We're here." he said then proceeded to head to his usual seat.

"Luna! Here!" Charles shouted waving her hands at me.

"Charles is a very flirty person, 6ft 2in tall, a brunette and bit buff. Charles is an attractive person too. I remembered our first interaction this morning.

-Flashback-

I opened the door and everyone looked at me with curiosity in their eyes. Our professor's still not here so some students still exchanging greetings. I went to the back of the room next to a brunette guy.

"Hi beauty, I'm Charles. Charmed I'm sure." he said winking at me.

"Not really, nice try though. I'm Luna by the way." I said smiling at him a bit.

"Damn, rejected already? I'm pretty sure I've got charms." Charles said pouting playfully.

"You are charming, but not charming enough for me." I said chuckling a bit, he laughed and nodded.

"Let's start again shall we? I'm Charles Connor, nice to meet you." Charles said giving me his right hand.

"Luna, Estella Williams, and it's a pleasure to meet you." I said shaking Charles' outstretched hand.

"Don't worry lady, I preferred boy over girls like us anyway." Charles said smirking at me with a glint of mischief in his eyes.

-Flashback ends-

"Hey" I said smiling at her.

"Sit, sit." Charles said ushering me to sit beside her.

I sat beside her and took plate fool of food.

"How's your evening?" I asked Charles as she was stuffing her face with food.

"It's quite good, how about you? How's your evening?" Charles asked after swallowing her food.

"I'm exhausted, but I'll manage." I said then continued eating.

"I'll be heading back to my chambers Luna, Good night." Charles said standing up and kissed both my cheeks before heading to her room.

After Charles left, I went stood up and headed back to my room. As I closed the dining hall's doors, I saw Christian leaning on the wall in front of the dining hall's doors. He looked up and stared at me for a bit, he stood up and walked towards me.

"Uh, hi?" I said as he is now in front of me.

"Let's go." he said taking my hand and softly dragging me towards our chamber halls.

We reached our rooms and he finally let go of my hand. Christian headed to his room and opened his door but before he went inside, he looked at me gave a ghostly smile.

"Good night." he said.

"Good night." I said smiling at him. He then proceeded to head inside his room and softly closed his door.

'That was weird.' I thought heading inside but even if I think it was weird, I can't help the smile plastering on my face.
