"SMILES!!!" Reese yells. I don't see them yet, but the entire school knows they saw me.

"Its been to long!" I feel the arms wrap around me before I see Reese in front of me.

"Yeah, because one weekend is too long." Reese always pretends like I went away to war when we leave. I see the green bracelet on their arm.

"So! Tell me how it went!" They demand, dragging Tyler and I to one of the benches in the schools garden.

"It was fine, Reese. We hung out with my family and friends. We ate to much McDonald's in one day though." I tell them.

"Tyler! C'mon! You had to have done more then that!" Reese begs. I had told him not to mention the race here because 1) they are illegal. Two delinquents could get in a lot of trouble for being at something illegal. 2) Its a pretty big hint to what my story is. I didn't tell Tyler the second reason.

"Thats literally it, Reese."

"Ugh. You guys are boring. Well I went fishing with my dad, but the fish were slimy and they kept wiggling out of my hands and into the water. Mom took me to the mall, which was really cool of her!" Tyler chuckles a bit. I smile.

We talk as we walk to the lobby or our dorms.

"You guys put your stuff away then meet me here, k?" Reese says, tapping their wrist like its a watch.

I shake my head at them. They snort.

Tyler drops his stuff off in his room and walks with me to mine. Brent is there, playing on his phone.

"Hey Brent." I say as I put my bag on my bed. I put my phone and wallet in the little safe drawer in my bedside table. It has a little combo lock on it for us to put our phones and wallets and special jewelry in, but the teachers know all the codes and on weekly inspection will check the drawer. I nod at Brent again as we leave, but he doesn't even look up from his game.

Alright then.

We meet Reese in the lobby, as promised and they drag us to the library and talk our ear off.

When it hits dinner time we head to the cafeteria, get food, sit down. Its kinda weird being here again, it always is the day we come back. It feels like I'm just a kid getting a tour of a collage, not a student here.

Tyler slides his hand into mine under the table. Reese is mumbling something about fish and I was zoning out. I smile.

"Hey Smiles." I turn as someone sits next to me. Its some guy I've never seen before- or I have and don't remember him- but Reese tenses up.

"Hey." Reeses eyes are wide, so I have to assume this guy is bad bad. Like- in here because hes an asshole and deserves prison bad.

"So, my friends and I were out this weekend, just doing regular teen things... and I happend to see you at McDonalds. You were with this girl, she looked a lot like you. She your sister or something?" I don't like where this is going.

"Are you sure it was me?"

"Yeah, it was you. Was that your sister or what?" I don't trust him. I don't want him liking Maggie, I don't want him to even know she exists. Reese stands up.

"OH MY GOD! George stop being gay!" They yell. The entire cafeteria goes silent and looks over at us. Thank you Reese, so much.

"I'm not a fag!" George yells back, hands slapping the table.

"Then stop hitting on Smiles!"

"I wasn't!"

"Oh suuure! Because "Oh Smiles, we should go back to my room, I'll make you feel good." Is totally straight and not at all gay. Ya'know, you're looking a little hot there. Are you nervous? Don't want people knowing you gay? That you get off to the though of the boys here touching you?" Now that Reese mentions it, George is sweating a little, and it dose feel like the room is getting hotter.

"I don't!"

"Thats exactly what someone trying to hide would say!" Reese sing songs. George looks like he might hit them. I put my hand on his shoulder before I know what I'm doing.

"You should go now." He needs to leave before- what if I kill? What if he hurts Reese and I kill him?

A hand is placed on my back. Tyler. Hes not giving me any emotions, just telling me he is there for me.

"Fuck you guys!" Then George stomps off.

Reese sits down.

"That was George Metrov. He is an asshole who liked getting girls drunk at party's and taking advantage of them. Brutally. Apparently he would drug them and be rough with them. I heard that he had said he liked it when they would cry. Smiles, if you do have a sister, best not to mention her around him- around anyone here. George is gonna hate you now." and then Reese leaves. They walk right out the door. That was weird. Usually Reese would stay with us.

"We should leave too, Smiles." Tyler says. I nod and he leads me out of the cafeteria.

"Do you want to go to my dorm? Or the gardens? Or your dorm?" Tyler asks once the doors shut behind us.

"Gardens." He nods and then I blink and we are there. Was I gunna kill that guy? Was I gunna murder that kid?

"What are you thinking about? You know its gonna be fine, right?" Tyler says, sitting me on a bench. I nod. What if I killed that guy? Sure, he is a horrible person, but death? Would I make it slow and painful? I don't want to kill him! But what if I do? Do I want him dead? I don't know. I don't know! Was I gonna kill him? Is that why I touched him?! Oh god! I'm a killer! I'll kill more people- kids! I'm at a school with kids! I was gonna kill a kid- No! I don't want to kill! I don't! I-

"Smiles! Please calm down!" I'm a killer!

"Smiles, c'mon, calm down. Breath in." I've killed before, what if I do it again?

"It's okay! Everything is fine!" No! No its not! I'm a killer! I took someones life! Multiple lives!

I sob. I brake down crying right there on a bench in the garden.

Tyler hugs me me and lets me cry into his shoulder until I cry myself to sleep.
