| 05 | Dragon Tails and Bandicoot Fails

CHAPTER V
— DRAGON TAILS AND BANDICOOT FAILS —

"Are you alright, mate?" the orange bandicoot questioned.

Mario, Sonic, and Megaman's eyes opened sluggishly.

"See, Crash, they're fine," the purple dragon stated.

"I was just worried for a while there," the bandicoot named Crash responded.

"Who... Who are you?" Megaman asked.

"I'm Crash and he's Spyro. Don't worry, we mean no harm at all," the bandicoot said.

"Yeah, I mean, we did save your lives from being killed," Spyro also said.

"Well, almost not killed. You're all mostly injured. So I'd say, you stay on your bed," Crash told them.

The three later discovered they were in the same room where the one they were fighting just a few hours ago!

"What are they doing here? That bot kidnapped my friends and I to this weird dimension and you think I'll believe he's a friend?!" Sonic shouted.

The hedgehog stood and suddenly broke his leg a lot more.

"You must lie down or else you'll hurt yourself more, mate," Crash told him as Spyro flew to help out Sonic and bring him back to bed.

"Could you explain this?" Megaman asked as he tried to heal himself from the pain in his stomach.

"Before the ol' guy say anything, I want to tell you that all that he will say is the truth. Trust me," the dragon, Spyro, minded them.

"But there's one lie there, friend, I'm not old. With that out of the way, let me explain..."

"When I was walking with my sister, Coco, and my friend, Crunch on the Wumpa Islands, there was something unusual happening when we approached Aku Aku, another friend of mine, he was acting weird. Telling us to 'run away,' but we didn't. We walked closer and asked if he was alright. But he wasn't, mate. He ain't. He started to say weird stuff and none of those made any sense, at all! Then later, there was some kind of portal. Aku Aku used some kind of psychokinetic power and forced me and my friends into this world. Before we were thrown into the portal, I glimpsed Aku Aku glitching into a purple dragon that looks like Spyro.

"But now, I'mma tryin' to find them and maybe even go back to my real world," the bandicoot said.

Spyro spoke about his story, "I was living a normal day with my friends, Elora and Hunter, as usual. Bathing in the heat of the sun. Until, Bianca, another friend of mine, suddenly appeared hastily. She said there was something horribly bad happening in the village! Hmph, and I thought I would finally have a break with all the fighting. Like, what a normal person would do, me and the others went to the village and saw something terrible. There was a portal sucking all the houses. It was a good thing Bianca was able to evacuate the villagers. As Elora and Hunter create a plan to stop it, Bianca accidentally got sucked in the huge portal as it gets bigger. Then, there was a bandicoot behind the portal, fooling us with naughty smiles. But since Hunter and Bianca were, y'now, 'in love,' Hunter foolishly followed Bianca inside the portal. The bandicoot grinned. Elora decided to make a run for it but as we tried to run away, which I really hate to do, Elora's dress got stuck in some wood. The bandicoot, that looks like Crash, got closer with the portal and sucked Elora in. He held my back so swiftly as if he was a ninja, and swinged me in the portal as I see his demonic smile."

Sonic looked at Crash in such a way that you can't even tell.

"So... How does this connect to our case?" The hedgehog questioned with a poker face.
