Loren's POV

We had just landed into a small airport just outside of London and the staff was now preparing for us to leave the plane. Next to the plane was a small black car similar to the ones Killian had in Seattle. Next to it was a short man with his arms behind his back as he spoke with Adam who was already next to him. The airport was very small, all of the other planes seemed to be less than half of the size of ours.

"You ready doll?" Killian walked up next to me as the flight attendant carried our luggage down the stairs leading to the tarmac.

"Yeah" I whispered and stood up, grabbing onto his arm. I thanked the Pilot as we walked out the door and the cool, crisp air hit my face. I didn't realize how much I had missed fresh air after being cooped up for so long.

"Mr. East, miss" the short man bowed his head to us as we walked up to him.

"Hello Bertrand, how are you?"

"Oh wonderful sir. It is nice to see you after so long. How was the flight?"

"Fine. It is good to be back after so many years. This is my girlfriend Loren." At that moment Bertrand grabbed my hand and placed a gentle kiss over the top of it.

"So you are the beautiful girl who has caught the heart of this ambitious lion" He winked at me as I he opened the back door for us and I heard Adam laugh as he got into the passenger seat.

"You have your own driver here as well?" I looked over after Killian as Bertrand shut our door and was speaking with the Pilot.

"Yes doll, I have a small group staff over here. They serve me and any guests whenever I am in town."

"What about when you aren't in town? It doesn't sound like you've been here in years? Do they have other jobs?"

"They're taken care of." He finished his sentence as Bertrand opened his door and plopped down in his seat. "I assume our first stop is the Savoy, sir?"

"Actually Bertrand, we will be staying at the Mandarin" And with that Bertrand nodded and drove off.

A short while later we had pulled up in front a large building that resembled a castle. I stepped out of the car and admired its beauty. The bellhop that stood outside its wooden doors took our luggage from the trunk and followed us into the lobby. Every possible shade of marble was located in this lobby. The floor had different shades of black and grey both with white stranding. The balusters looked like vases and were a creamy red shade, the slabs above it a deep brown.

Without stopping at the front desk where multiple people were in line to check in, we were led up to our room. So Killian must be well known in London too, I smiled to myself. The elevator doors opened up to a main salon where a large blue velvet couch sat next to floor to ceiling windows. There were multiple marble and wooden tables spread out, all covered in either artwork or fresh flowers. The elevator door closed behind me and I turned to see Killian putting his wallet back into his pocket.

"This place is beautiful" I admired the crystal chandelier that hung above his head.

"Fit for a princess, don't you think" He laid a soft peck on the top of my head as he carried our luggage through a doorway, probably to the bedroom. "So this will be your bedroom, and I'll be on the other side of the Penthouse." He sat my luggage down and carried his out of the room.
