Shoni is endgame

Chapter 1

Toni's POV

I wake up to my happy best friend, Martha, jumping on my bed because it is the first day of school. I don't understand why she is so excited. Yes we are seniors and all, but we still have a whole year of high school ahead of us in this god-forsaken town. 

I live with Martha and her family in Minneapolis, Minnesota. My parents have been out of the picture ever since I was born. My dad has been in jail ever since I was 6 months old, and my mom has been in and out of rehab ever since I was 2. Then I have been in and out of different foster homes. 

The homes either don't like me because I'm gay or because of my attitude. I understand I have anger issues, and I am trying to work on that, but the families that didn't like that I am gay can go choke on a dick. 

When I was 16 years old, I had finally had enough and Martha noticed and asked her parents if I could stay with them. Of course they said yes, because I was like their 2nd daughter. 

So yeah, my life is pretty fucked up. 

"Martha get the fuck off of me." I said with an angry tone. 

"Get up Ms. Cranky! It's our first last day of school." Martha said as she pulled the curtains open in my room aka their guest room. 

I immediately start to rub my eyes. "Yes Marty I understand that but school doesn't start until 8 am" I said looking at the clock that read 6:15 am. "Marty it is literally so fucking early, I'm going back to sleep until 7:20." I said turning over and closing my eyes.

"No Toni you can't. We are meeting the girls at Rosie's Diner. Dot is going to be working and she can get us free milkshakes before school." 

That quickly caught my attention. Free and Milkshakes are my two favorite things. 

"Alright fine Marty, just leave so I can get up."

At the Diner

Marty and I quickly get out of the car and go head to our normal booth in the back. We notice that Leah and Fatin are already here. They drive together because Leah lives 3 houses down from Fatin. 

"AHHHH hi guys" Marty screams and goes up to hug them. 

Leah and I share the same look as we are both thinking 'damn it's too early for this shit.'

Meanwhile Fatin stands up to give Marty a quick hug, but then has to sit down fast. "Fuck y'all. I am so hungover. I can't do this shit today."

We all laugh as we turn our heads to the door that just opened and here come the Twins, who couldn't be anymore opposite: Rachel and Nora. 

Marty goes up to hug them. Nora immediately hugs her back, but Rachel kind of just taps the back of Marty's back. Rachel isn't the most affectionate person. 

Dot notices that we are all here and bring our favorite milkshakes. Rachel, Leah and I always get Chocolate. Fatin gets Strawberry, and Marty and Nora get Vanilla. 

"Yo guys what's up." Dot says with that smile that can just light up a room. She loves it when we visit her at work. We all smiled back and thanked her for the milkshakes. 

Dot walks over to me and we do our little fist bump handshake. Dot and I are basically like bro's and we definitely act like it.

"So are y'all excited for our first last day of high school?" Marty says with a smile on her face.

Everyone kind of groans except for Nora who had a shy smile on her face and said "Yep!"

It was 7:40 so we had to start heading to school now. Great I already can't wait for this fucking year to be over with.

This is my 2nd time writing a Fan Fiction. I didn't finish the last one, but that's because I was so young. I am in college now so my uploads will definitely not be consistent, however, I will try to post at least twice a week. Anyways I fucking love shoni. Like bruh they are so cute. Also Mia Healey and Erana James are so hot. I literally love both of them.
