Wakko's pov

"STOP THEY'RE MINE!", I yelled out while running and holding a newly bought box of donuts, away from Yakko's grip. "Wakko just give me one you can buy more later!", Yakko called out chasing me. "NO! I spent my money on them!", I shouted out as I ran into a library knowing Yakko hated libraries. 'Humph knew he wouldn't follow me in here', I thought as I saw him groan and walk the other direction through the library window. I looked around to find an empty seat to eat my donuts. 'this place is huge', I thought to myself as I walked deep into the library. I saw a nice long tables but looked up to see someone already seated. We made eye contact and I felt my heart sink, they were the most beautiful person i'd ever seen. I smiled and walked over to where they were sitting. "HE- I mean hellooo nurse!", I whispered smiling at them. They seemed to be nervous but they smiled back.

2nd Person Pov

You were sitting quietly scrolling through your phone mindlessly.  You came to the library often just to get away from people and be alone, it was a big building and barely had any visitors. You looked up when you heard someone walk by you hoping they weren't going to sit at your table. You watched as an adorable looking toon came up to you and smiled holding a box of donuts, "HE- I mean hellooo nurse!", he whispered to you. You smiled back as your cheeks heated up, "can I sit here?", he asked already taking a seat before you could answer. He opened his box and turned it over for you to see, "want one?", he asked, you nodded and he motioned for you to choose one. You picked one carefully from the box and he smiled, "t-thankyou", you managed to get out. "It's really quite here.", he said as he looked around at empty tables surrounded by shelves of books. "Yeah that's why I like it here", you said quietly then took a bite from your yummy donut. "I don't like it", he responded with furrowed eyebrows as he took a donut from the box. You said nothing, not knowing what to say so you silently sat there. Your head was a complete different story, 'Okay answer. Wait what do I say? Ugh it's too late now. He's looking at me he's looking at me. He's kinda cute how do I talk to him?', your mind was spinning. "Uhh are you okay?", Wakko questioned as you stared blankly. "oh uh uhm yes.", you responded embarrassed at the situation.

"You look upset.", he said examining your face. "Oh.", was all you managed to get out. Wakko sat quietly next to you eating the rest of the donuts in the box. You were confused as to why he was still here, you had barely talked but he still stayed. You really wanted to talk to him,  but how. "Well.. I'm gonna go now", he said quietly as he stood up with now what you thought was an empty box of donuts. "here.", he said setting a donut down next to you. He turned around and you realized this might be your last chance to say anything. "Oh uhm wait wait- uhh what's your name.. you uh never told me..", you said quietly and he smiled brightly. "My names Wakko, yours?", he asked. "Y/n", you smiled back. "Sorry if I was annoying you earlier I just thought you looked nice", he frowned to himself. You blushed and looked down at your feet, "No no it wasn't annoying..", you said quietly and he looked at you. "You look nervous are you okay?", he asked with a genuine concern to his expression. You felt gushy, at the fact that he seemed so concerned on how you were feeling. "Yes just sometimes I- get nervous talking to certain people..", you said finally looking into his concerned eyes.

"Maybe I can make you feel better!", he said smiling. "Really?", you questioned in excitement. "Yeah i've got this place I go to you should come with me!", he smiled and took your hand and ran out the library. "What's this?", you asked looking at where he had taken you. A bunch of trees and grass. "Over here! Look i'm sure you'll like this!", he announced as he brought you deeper into the small forest. "woooaaahhh", you said in amazement as you entered a garden, beautifully saturated flowers were everywhere, a mossy stone path led to a small pond. "It's cool right?", he asked gently and you nodded. "Wanna see the best part?", he asked and you nodded excitedly. "Ta-Da!!", he exclaimed and brought you to a small rug with what looked to be a small wooden bird house on it. You both sat down and he began to explain why the bird house was so important. "I made this! Well i'm still working on it", he smiled. "What if someone steals it?", you asked as you examined the well built wooden house. "Nobody comes here it will be fine!", he reassured you. "I've been working on it all week wanna help me paint it?", he asked as he dug through a nearby bush taking out small paint jars along with two brushes. "Woah you hide your paint in bushes?", you questioned as you giggled a bit. "Yes!", he exclaimed and stuck his tongue out. He began to open the jars and dip his brush in it. You quietly took the other brush and began to help him paint. Nobody talked but you felt pure joy, in the moment the both of you sat close painting delicately, smelling the beautiful flowers, and hearing the chirping of the nearby birds.

"Done!", he exclaimed as he finished painting the roof. "Me to!", you said to him showing him your finishing touches. He quickly put his arm around your shoulder bringing you closer, "This was fun!", he said a loud and you nodded quickly in joyful agreement.

The day drew to an end and the sun began to set. "I should go home now.", Wakko said quietly. "Yeah me to.", you said in agreement. He got up and gave you a hand to help you get up, except he didn't let go when you were standing. You both walked out of the lovely garden, your finger intertwined, and a golden sun shining above you making this moment seem surreal. "I can walk you to your house if you want.", he smiled at you. "It's okay I can go myself, you should get home.", you replied slowly slipping away from his grip. "Wait wait before you go can I have your phone number?", he asked, visibly nervous. "Yes", you replied then began exchanging numbers. "Okay bye!!", he smiled and waved as you walked in the opposite direction. "W-wait Y/n!", he called out and you turned around. "I don't usually do this ever.. but uhm. I really like you.", he said staring down at the floor. You smiled and said something you never thought you'd say so smoothly it sounded like it was part of your every day vocabulary. "You are cute Wakko."believed you would do. He kissed you. You were shocked but quickly found it enjoyable. You pulled away and he spun around dizzy like a top. "Bye Wakko!", you called out running off and leaving him practically melting on his own.

Full of surprises and not ending it the way you expected you had a great time, a time you would spend over and over again day after day again and again with Wakko in the beautiful garden.
