Tingles shoot up my spine, and a rush of adrenaline pumps through my veins. His lips are so soft, and he tastes so good. Goddess he tastes even better than chocolate. Impossible, but it's happened.

On their own accord, my lips start to move in sync with his and my eyes flutter down slowly in ecstasy. It feels so right, staying in his arms. I feel a connection with him that I've never felt with any other before. Something in my chest starts to warm, the heat that always occurs has attacked my heart. It's enveloped me entirely now, and I did nothing to try and stop it.

A voice in my head whispers,
Mate...

That is when I know I must be going crazy. He can't be it. No. This wasn't ever supposed to happen.

My eyes snap open, and we both separate at the same time. Equally shocked...did he hear that voice too?

Mr. Ivan clears his voice. I tear my gaze away from Damien's and look at Mr. Ivan. I wasn't really paying attention though, I focused on breathing. That kiss was intense...

"I see that I've finally got your attentions now. That was a rather...dramatic end to the class? But remember this isn't drama, it's music. Return to your seats now. We still have people who need to sing."

I don't hear a thing he's said. Still breathing heavily, I let Damien drag me to the back of class.

I can't help but steal glances at him for the rest of class. I refused to look in his direction, whenever I felt his heavy gaze. I wanted him, but didn't at the same time. During that kiss, I felt Damien take up my entire being. Breathing, the audience, Gwen....none of that mattered anymore. All I wanted and needed was him. I could feel the same thing happening to him. I was filling him up, the same way he was filling me up. We almost fulfilled the first part of the bond. The merging of our essences, of who we were inside. So close...I'm glad Mr. Ivan intercepted when he did. I'm not ready. As much as I like him...want him...I can't.

Unable to resist, I look at him again. Our eyes meet, and Damien's beautiful amethyst eyes are burning with as much emotion as mine are. Lust...passion...confusion.......
Love...

...

It's too late...it wasn't just the kiss. Him...I can't leave him anymore. We started bonding when our eyes met, when he held my hand, when he nuzzled my neck, when he hugged me. The kiss...was just the highlight.

I can see it in his eyes, the possessive way he looks at me. I can't run...

I look down at my hands, clenching and unclenching.

What do I do now...?

Brother wolf whispers in his head,
Mate...

Damien had a feeling Angelina was his mate. Knew the moment he locked eyes with her, it was a whole different matter to have it confirmed by brother wolf though.

He never meant for today to go this way. For the class to go this way...

He remembered, that he'd been irritated earlier. Irritated that mon ange was hiding from him. Damien was planning to skip the next couple of classes. After finding her missing from his next classes, he didn't see the point in staying. Maybe history was the only class they had together. Just as he was about to leave, Sierra runs up to him. Out of breath.
