A L E X I S

"Why do you always keep quiet? A familiar deep voice asked but I ignored thinking he'd go away on his own but he didn't; instead I felt a shadow on me.

"Why won't you stand up for yourself? Now you're sitting outside by yourself crying while Chris is enjoying her lunch inside." He added with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

I raised my head to see the source of the voice and saw Kyle clutching one hand of his bag as he looked down on me.

"Aren't you gonna talk to me?" He asked again but I still didn't respond. "Fine! Don't talk, I don't even know why I even came out here." He frowned before storming off.

Is he mad?

What was I supposed to say? I know I'm pathetic for letting Christina humiliate and walk all over me the way she's doing but I just freeze whenever I come in contact with her. It feels like she's in a league of her own.

"There you are." Jasmine's voice filled the air as she walked closer to me. "You're still sobbing? Girl, Christina's having lunch with the biggest smile on her face and you're still here crying." She shook her head in disappointment.

"Did he ask you to tell me that too? Because that's exactly what he said just a minute ago." I sniffled loudly.

"Who?" She took the spot next to me. "Who said something to you? Was it Andy? No, he told me to find you to make you feel better," Jasmine's eyes sparked interest.

"Never mind."

"Lexi are you talking to guys now? Who? Tell me!" She demanded as she lifted my face up to meet her brown eyes. Her face turned bright with excitement.

"Who is he? Do I know him? Does he school here? I mean obviously, he just spoke to you. Do you have a crush on him?" She squealed excitedly.

Who wouldn't have a crush on Kyle? He's hot and he's super nice too but I might be over reading into this whole Kyle issue so I'll just keep that to myself for now.

"I don't wanna tell you yet, you're going to make fun of  me." I shook my heads and she glared at me.

It's not that I don't trust her, I trust Jasmine with my life but the truth is that I really don't want anyone to know anything yet.

"I wont. But fine, if you don't want to tell me yet, I won't push." She finally gave up.

But knowing Jasmin, she's going to ask me about it later.

"Jazz,"

"Yes?"

"You were gonna tell me something last night but you didn't, what was it?" I remembered but she her eyes dropped and she lowered her head.

She ran her hand through her black hair before she sighed.

"Do you remember there was a party during the summer hosted by Dylan?" I nodded my head  in confirmation.

"At the party, I started talking to this guy when I knew he was actively involved with Christina. He was just so charming and then one thing led to another and we ended up making out on the dance floor. I consented to taking things further and we found our way into one of the empty bedrooms where we got hot and heavy. When I was just about to go down on him, the door was pushed open and Caitlin saw us. That when when I knew it's about to get real. He didn't mind and still preferred that I go down on him, which I did-."

"You're nasty!" I interrupted midway.

"I wasn't even done yet!"

"Sorry, go on."

"After he got what he wanted, he just got up and left but Christina and her minions came into the room to bully me but she couldn't and instead created a photoshop of a nude girl but instead had my face and sent it to everyone saying I was a whore."

" I didn't get the photo though." I confessed and she narrowed her eyes at me. "Even though I'm a nerd, I have every right to be included in the school's gossip." I defended myself and she looked at me like she wasn't surprised.

Understandable, I didn't even know there was a party nor would I have actually attended it. I'd rather sit in the comfort of my home then go out partying with the overly loud music.

"But who is he? Is he part of the popular kids?" I asked.

"Okay I'll tell you but not now and regarding your boy problems I think you could actually get him if you change up your style a little." She suggested.

"Do you think so?"

"I do. You're already pretty, you just need to bring out yourself more."

"I honestly can't believe you both sat her for the rest of the day." Andy chuckled.

I looked down at my watch and saw that there was still time. "You're lying." I looked up at him.

"The rest classes were canceled! The teachers had an emergency meeting so we're done." He explained.

"No!" I yelled dramatically.

"Calm down my best friend, you only missed a like one class not the last day of school."

"Jasmine, we just missed a class!" I yelled loud enough for her to sink it in. "My perfect attendance is ruined."

"It's not a first for me."

Oh no!

I've been gathering my perfect attendance records so I could put that in my university application form but now it's ruined.

This is all because of witch Christina! If she hadn't tried to humiliate me, I wouldn't be here right now.

"And succeeded," My brain reminded me.

Stupid Christina! Stupid lunch! Stupid C three.

One day when I'm no longer scared of them, I will put them all in their place. Till then, I will do my best to avoid them.

Starting by avoiding the cafeteria, I might just start having my lunch outside.

"Let's hang out at my dad's shop today." I suggested.

"Let's go!"
