"There are no secrets that time does not reveal."
Fainwyn didn't know how long she sat by the window, sobbing her heart out. She still felt like crying, but it seems her tears dried up. Look at yourself, you'll have puffy eyes tomorrow that's for sure! Well, I could just skip school. Nobody will care anyway. No, no, no. I will not show weakness, I am strong.
She looked out and saw Meredith get out of a taxi, Miss Minchin was with her. Why is Miss Minchin hugging her? I thought she was already home.
To say she was curious would be an understatement. She continued to stare outside until Meredith went inside and their teacher got into a taxi. She stared without a coherent thought in her mind. And drifted off to sleep.

Meredith surprised herself when she returned the hug Miss Minchin gave her. She felt comforted somehow. She was about to go in her room, but Roark stopped her.
"Where have you been? I asked the to driver to drive around to look for you, but we didn't see you anywhere, I know how capable you are Meredith but don't do this again, you got me worried."
Meredith smiled apologetically at her brother.
"I'm sorry, I was not thinking clearly. I promise. I shall never go off without your knowledge Roark."
And she was once again enveloped in a warm hug. She thanked her lucky stars that she was able to cry earlier because if she didn't, now, she'd be bawling. They're not siblings who are used to hugs, this would be the first time Roark hugs her.
"I'm just glad you're safe."
She couldn't help but feel happy, her brother loves her. She smiled at him.
"I was safe, Miss Minchin saw me at the park."
Technically, it's not all true, but it's not a lie either. And it's her duty to worry about her brother, not the other way around.
"Good to hear that then, I'll keep in mind to thank her later for that."
"Let's retire now, we still have an early day tomorrow. I know you want to talk about earlier baby, but I'm just so tired."
"I understand Meredith, just remember, I'm here for you."
Meredith beamed at her brother, and they went inside their rooms. Yes, Roark, you're the only one who is there for me. I count that as a blessing. She thought as she got ready for bed, exhausted, she went right to sleep.
______________
Fainwyn felt someone lifted her and carried her off. She was too tired and sleepy to care. She snuggled into her pillows as soon as she was placed in her bed.
"Good night princess."
"Good night father."
She was smiling in her sleep, happy in her dreamland, where her father took notice of her and laid her in her bed.
"I wish I was princess, I wish I was."
She didn't hear those whispered words, she was fast asleep.
______________
Patrick hastily called David. But his phone was out of coverage. He felt resentful, at the same time, he felt relieved. For years, he thought David betrayed him, no, betrayed them. Amethyst and him, though Amy never thought that about her brother, but he did. Amy didn't know, he loved her, yes, deeply. He would gladly die in her place, or kill for her. But, he loved her like a sibling would. For him, she is his little sister, not just his best friend. Well, Amy did know about that part. That was the reason she agreed to marry him just so she'd be able to keep her baby as her parents are set on getting rid of her pregnancy, a young debutant, pregnant without a husband. It was unheard of. They loathed him but tolerated him, because even with their unbinding old-fashioned moral views, they doted on Amy and hated to see her upset. They even formed an idea that the baby was really his. And for that he was thankful, he might not be Monica's blood, but the love she has for his darling girl is uncomparable. She loved Monica so much that he did everything in his power to make sure Monica stays his. Even leave the man I love with all my passion. That's the thing Amy was so dense about, her brother didn't get close to him because of her. David and him, they realized they loved each other. They never thought they were gay, both of them, they never were into girls, but they never admired boys either. It came as a shock to them. A nice surprise. But at the same time an unpleasant secret. They were both sons of great men, expected to follow suit. When his father passed on, Patrick never felt so free in his life. They were ready to talk to David's parents. But then the some douchebag impregnated Amy without any plans of taking responsibility. And Amy was already in love with her baby, telling them how she could ever destroy something that is part her. She was something else, so giving, even when the man she loves left her. She believed her baby is still made out of love. At first he thought her to be too blinded by love for the wrong man, but she proved him wrong when she reasoned out why she believed her baby is made out of love. "My family and my dearest friend came together for this baby, the father may not care, but you do. And I would like to believe that you would already love my baby as much as I love it because you love me, so this baby is out of love." She told him that on her second trimester. Amy was wrong though, at that time, he resented the baby. Resented it because of the father, but Amy couldn't be more right about them loving her baby now. Monica is the most precious thing in his life. The most important, and knowing that Monica may have had her secret wish true all along, he just can't dismiss it. My baby has two baby sisters. What am I to do, Amy, what am I to do?
