"Hi harry."
I could tell he was surprised by the way he flinched, and I tried to hide my smile. He quickly looked over at me and his cheeks immediately flushed pink.
"Oh- hi Jocelyn, how are-"
"Have you seen Ginny?"
His cheeks flushed an even deeper pink and my heart skipped a few beats as I realized that I interrupted him.
"Erm- yeah she just left, I'm not sure where she went though."
"Okay thanks."
I lightly smiled at him and started to walk out, but I quickly turned around. I absolutely hated the name Jocelyn, especially when Harry said it.
"Harry, by the way, you can call me Jocie."
He smiled back at me and nodded, and again, I started to walk out, but was interrupted.
"Hey Jocie, I'm actually having a hard time with this charm, could you help me?"
I opened my mouth to say no, but nothing came out. As much as I needed to talk to Ginny, the only thing that was on my mind was Harry.
"Yeah, of course. What is it?" I asked as I started to sit down.
"It's the colovaria charm. We're supposed to change this feather to the color blue," he replied while looking at the feather.
"Oh that's easy. Here, let me see."
I put my hand on his hand as he held his wand, and I instantly got butterflies. I could tell my cheeks were pink from how warm they were, and Harry's were pink as well.
"Um- so you're just going to point you're wand at the feather, but make sure you flick your wrist."
I lifted his hand up, and lightly flicked his wand. He smiled and I smiled back, but I quickly took my hand off and pointed to his book.
"Okay, so it's pronounced coh-loh-va-ree-ah."
"Coh-loh-va-ree-ah. Easy enough," he smiled.
"Exactly. Also, make sure you really focus on the color you want it to be."
"Okay. Here goes. Colovaria."
The feather turned a bright red.
I looked at him and tried to hold in my laughter but couldn't. He instantly broke out into a laugh as soon as he saw the feather, and we couldn't stop giggling until my stomach started to hurt.
"Did you even listen to what I said?" I grinned.
"Yes! I did! Kind of."
I shook my head as I smiled at him and giggled. His smile was strangely captivating, I could barely keep my eyes off of him.
"Well, this time, actually focus on the color blue. Don't let anything else into your mind."
"Alright. Colovaria."
The feather turned from bright red to a dark blue.
"Perfect!" I exclaimed.
We both smiled at each other and laughed but I quickly stopped after I realized what I came down here for in the first place.
"It's been a half an hour already? I'm sorry Harry, I need to go find Ginny."
"Right, of course. Thanks for helping me, I really appreciate it."
"No problem," I said softly.
We smiled at each other and I walked out as my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest, and the butterflies in my stomach were going to fly out.
My feelings for Harry were only getting stronger.
