•••••••••••••The day before the task•••••••••••••
Cedric and I had been hanging out the past week after he helped me with the riddle. Cedric was really nice and and funny and it was a lot of fun hanging out with him. Helga, I love the Hufflepuffs. «Ready for the task?» Cedric asked.
I was about to answer when Harry approached us in the courtyard.
«Have you seen Ron and Hermione? I haven't seen them in a couple of hours. They said that they would be back soon»
«I'm sorry I haven't seen them» I answered him.
«Me neither» Cedric said.
«Oh. Thank you anyway» He shrugged and hurried off.
Cedric wished me goodluck tomorrow with a kiss on the cheek as a joke. I had kissed Cedric on the cheek yesturday when he leaned forward to open a door. ... And I thought he wanted a kiss... «Hehe very funny» I snorted.
«It is» He laughed.
I stepped into my room to be greeted by my friends, asking me if I was ready for tomorrow. I answered yes and went to bed.
Sophie, Y/n! Dinner!
Sophie and I hurried down the stairs very quickly and sat down at the table.
«Thank you» I smiled as Monica put some stew on my plate.
«Thank you» Sophie said when she got stew too. Stew was the only thing we got served here at the orphanage. We had to be quiet under dinner, but Sophie was a psycic so she talked to me inside my head. «We should just get away from this place» She said in my head.
«Where would we even go to?» I asked.
«We should try to find other people like us» She said still eating her stew.
«We don't even know if there are other's»
«Of course there is other's!» She shouted in my head and I jumped up.
«Sit down!» Monica shouted and I sat down quickly. The other kids looked over at me with worried and scared eyes.
I woke up next morning and put on my clothes and got ready for the task. Regina yawned and got up from her bed. «Ready for today?» She asked nervously.
«Yes. I just hope this thing is real» I huffed and picked up the package from my nightstand.
I walked down to the Black Lake with my friends and Cedric. «I'm cheering for you» Cedric said as we parted when he took a boat with some of his friends.
«Thank you» I smiled back at him.
Regina, Zoe, Clary and I had our own boat.
«You and Cedric, ey?» Clary asked, smirking at me.
«Don't be stupid!» I fired back. «Cedric is just a friend»
«He's very handsome though» Zoe said smirking aswell.
«Being handsome isn't the most important quality» I muttered, crossing my arms.
«I know... I know» Zoe understood and leaned back in the boat. «Does he have a nice personality?»
«He's basicly perfect» I chuckled. «But I didn't break up with George, so I could date Cedric»
«He has moved on» Clary said with a weak smile. «You can too» I don't need to. I don't want a boyfriend if the same thing would happen again.
