George's POV:
I looked down to see Y/n getting her breath back. I didn't know that this was going to happen to her when I gave her the seagrass. «This is my fault!»
«How is this your fault?» Cedric asked confused.
«I gave her the seagrass that turned her into that.. thing» I huffed and felt guilty.
Everyone started yelling and cheering as Harry, Ron and a little girl came to the surface.
Good, they didn't die
I didn't pay much attention to Harry, Fleur or Krum. «Attention! Attention! The winner is... Y/n L/n!» Dumbledore called.
I cheered togheter with the rest of the school as Dumbledore anounced that Y/n was the winner and Harry on second because he was a 'moral fiber'. «For showing unique command of the Syreni seagrass. The way I see it, Mr Potter would have finished first had it not been
for his determination to rescue not only Mr Weasly but the others as well. We've agreed to award him second place! For outstanding moral fibre»
Well... I think Y/n was first either way...
«She's down there!» Hermione shouted in frustration. Dumbledore hurried over to us in confusion.
Courtney put her hand in mine as I looked down in the water to see Y/n coming up to the surface. She lied on her back and flipped her tail. «Are you alright Ms l/n?» Dumbledore asked her, now looking into the water.
«Yeah» She answered with a nervous smile. She flipped her tail around. The smile turned into a 'this is disgusting' look.
«The seagrass will wear off in a couple of days» Dumbledore told her.
«What!? I have to stay in this cursed lake for a couple of days!?» She yelled.
«You can stay in the Prefect's bathroom» Cedric suggested leaning over the edge to look at
Y/n.
«Good idea Mr. Diggory» Dumbledore agreed with him. «You should probably swim back to shore»
«Great...» She muttered.
«Everyone to the boats!» Dumbledore shouted.
Courtney leaded me down to a boat with her friends and the boat started rowing back itself. I looked down in the water to see Y/n swimming under our boat. She brought her tail up to the surface and splashed water all over Courtney. «Ahhrgh!!» She whined and moved over to sit by me. «What a bitch!»
«Don't say that. It was probably an accident» I tried to assure her, trying to calm her down.
«You are taking her side!?» She yelled at me.
«Your ex's side!?»
«Of course not» I muttered, putting an arm around her, trying to comfort her. I looked back into the water and saw Y/n was still down there next to me.
Even though I am mad as hell at her for doing what she did to me, I can't stop caring for her
She looked up at me and caught me watching her. She smiled slightly and then turned around again.
We reached shore and Courtney took my hand and placed it around her shoulder.
«Let me help you up Y/n» Cedric offered his hand and helped her pulling herself up on land.
«We need to get you to the water again, so you don't... die. Windgardium Levioosa» She started flying and Cedric held her hand, taking her with him.
