Legolas POV:

I could feel the sun coming up over the horizon, but I didn't want to wake up. I was so comfortable. But as I heard footsteps, I snapped my eyes open and jumped up bow in hand.

"Who's there?" I say calmly but am still surprised to find a young ranger standing in front of me. I lower my bow and try to speak but I can't. As my mouth tried to form words, I can't help but notice how beautiful he is. I eventually manage to ask "who are you" before my mouth snaps shut. He looks at me quizzically, as if he has never seen an elf struggle to form words before and I blush.

"Aragorn, son of Arathorn. But most people know me by Strider." He sheathed his sword, "And who are you."

Argh, my stupid mouth, always failing to form words. I finally manage to say "Legolas, son of Thranduil." Before I go silent again and stare at the ground.

Aragorn POV:

I have never before encountered an elf this lost for words. Nor one so shy. And no elf has ever blushed while talking to me other than Arwin, but that doesn't matter. I can figure all of that out later "Where are you going?" I ask, trying not to sound too demanding, and trying not to make him any more uncomfortable. But this failed, seeing as he only blushed more. It was a long awkward moment before he finally started to talk again.

"Well, I..." He starts but falls silent once more "I am... well I was... I was trying to find you.

Sorry it's short, Im just trying to see if anyone wants me to keep writing this. If you do please comment.
