"Not many people can beat me in a battle" He said quietly, to quite that it made you scared.

"did you just speak to me through my mind!?" You asked even more confused now.
"its late you should sleep" Loki said keeping a straight face.
You got up and left the room so Loki was all alone.

You woke up and looked to your left to where your clock hung
6:00
you sighed and got dressed, cleaned your teeth and did skin care and grabbed your book to go to the library to read. It was very quiet and you didn't like that.
You walked down to the kitchen and you saw a note
Dear y/n,
Sorry but we have gone on a mission and you are stuck babysitting Loki, very sorry but we didn't want to wake you when you left. We should be back in 2 days i know it's long but the jet isn't that fast

You smiled at the letter, you didn't mind being with Loki he was difficult but also grumpy so he was easy to annoy.
Loki was probably still asleep so you walked to the library and found a comfy spot to sit.
you were reading one of your fav books Macbeth. you had read this book millions of times and you constantly drew all over the sides of the pages.
you glanced at the clock, it read 7:40am. you placed your book on the table, you would return later to finish reading it, and got up to go to the kitchen.
you arrived in the kitchen when you mind went to loki, confused of why but your thought disappeared when you heard someone enter the room, Loki.
"Morning, they have gone on a mission so it's just us and i'm in-charge daddy issues" you said smirking at him.
"Ok love." he spoke in a husky voice. You turned around as you felt your cheeks burning up. Why did this affect you so much? You sighed
"what do you want for breakfast." you said spinning round to face him. However he was much closer than you expected about an inch away from your face.
"Ok what do you want." You sighed. He was acting weird and you knew that wasn't a good sign.
He laughed "For you to tell me who you are" In that second he pulled out a dagger and placed it up against your neck. Confused you grabbed his arm and twisted it round
"What the hell Loki, are you cranky i called you daddy issues because no offence but you do have them" you said raising your brow.
he got out of your grip and but the dagger to your throat
"TELL ME!" He shouted which made you jump a bit
"I am y/n Stark" You started, and you hit the dagger out of his hand and twisting his arm round again.
"I don't know who my mother is and-" and again you were rudely interrupted by the same annoying god.
"that's all i care to hear" he says in an annoyed tone.
"Would you like breakfast" say say letting his arm free.
"Why would i want a mortal like you making me food" he says glaring at you
You sigh but make him eggs on toast. you cracked 2 eggs in the pan one egg for you and the other for him and put the toast in the toaster.
"eat daddy issues." you said angrily shoving it in front of him.
he scowled at you "don't call me that"
"ok emo chick" you said rolling your eyes
you guys ate in silence and then you cleaned your plates once finished eating. After that Loki got up to leave the room.
"Wait" You say but he kept walking so you followed him until you caught up to him "Look we are gonna be around each other for a while so why not be friends not even that we can just be civil." you said taking out your hand for him to shake.
"Friends is good." he says shaking your hand.
"Cool" You smiled and he left you to your thoughts.
Loki's Pov
And now i have just made friends with a mortal I thought, i have gone so low. I walked down the hallway to the library which i discovered last night ..
I opened the door to the library and saw a book on the table. "Macbeth" i read out loud to my self "by shakespeare". i was familiar with the midgardian author shakespeare so i picked up the book and walked back to my room to read it in peace.
i arrived to my room when i realised it was the one next to Y/n's, What a coincidence. i sighed and opened the door and sat down on my bed.
I turned the page when i saw some small doodles on the corners. The patterns ran up the side of the page, swirls and dots.
knock knock
i knew it was that mortal i groaned why is she knocking on my door!?
your pov
Loki had left you to your thoughts, then it hit you, you just asked Loki a god to be friends. what the hell were you thinking y/n you told yourself. you sighed and walked to the kitchen to clear up the rest of the mess.
After about 10 minutes everything was cleared up so you head your way down to the library to finish reading.
You went to your reading table and saw your book had disappeared, you knew only one person who was around this floor and that was Loki.
You got up and walked to his room which FRIDAY had told you was next door to yours.
Hesitating to knock you finally did
knock knock
You waited a couple of minutes for him to open the door.
"Sorry to disturb daddy issues, but did you by any chance pick up my book Macbeth which was on the table in the library. I seem to be missing it."
He thought for a while before replying to you
"No, why do you think i would have it?!" he asked kind of offended
You shrugged, "dunno, anyway see ya Lokes." you said smiling at him
"don't call me that." he said snapping at you
"I can't hear you Lokes" you shouted back to him as you walked down the corridor to the lounge.
Longer chapter this time, i hope you enjoyed. I hope you like the story at the moment because i am loving writing it :)
