'Experiment'? (Eddsworld Paul X Pat + Monster child! :D) {[COMEPLETED!!]}

Nightmares.

//2 years later\\

I fling myself up, heavy breathing, head pounding, water dropping onto my arms and blankets as it keeps building up in my eyes, the door opened and I saw a friendly face that I call 'Paul' or..dad.

"Y/N, are you alright?..did you have another nightmare?" He whispered as he quietly shut the door and made his way over, I nodded and started to cry more as images wouldn't leave my head. "This is the third one this week.." Paul sighed.

He carefully grabbed me and brought me closer to him, he placed his head on mine as I held him close to me. I cried into his chest. "Do you want to talk about what happened in this one?.." he asked when I finally calmed down. I nodded and wiped away the extra tears that were on my face.

Paul got up and grabbed out a small light which was inside a small plushy, he made this for me when he first heard about me having nightmares a lot more often then I used to. Whenever I'd wake up in the middle of the night due to one he hands me it so I can fiddle around with it as I calm down.

I named it 'Wilson' because It was the first name that came to my head and it made me feel happy.

Once Paul handed me Wilson he sat back down and let me take my time to explain what happened in this nightmare.

"S-So you remember the..large warehouse I was in last time?.." I asked Paul. He nodded and asked "yeah I do, we're you there again?"

"Yes I was, but this time I had someone chasing me through the whole thing holding knives threatening to kill me and everybody I know and trust. This guy had a mask on and very dark clothing to blend in with the shadows, I eventually tripped over hitting my head on some metal pretty hard and it started to bleed. I turned around and hid behind something but before I knew it he had found me..a-and he started getting closer and closer..and closer..until he raised his hand with the knife in it and had threw it back down stabbing me right in the middle of my face!!.."

I started tearing up again thinking of how scared I was in the nightmare and in real life, Paul rubbed my back trying to help me out a little and picked me up grabbing one of my blankets wrapping it around us two. He stood up and walked out to the kitchen grabbing me a glass of water handing it over to me. I took a couple sips and put it back down on the kitchen counter.

"so..did you want to go back to your bed tonight, again?" He asked, I shook my head and said "D-Do you think I can stay in yours and Patryk's bed tonight?..with you's?" Paul smiled and nodded. "Of course." He answered. I hugged him tightly and he started walking into his room where Patryk was sleeping peacefully.

Paul sat down on the bed and SOME HOW woke Pat up, he looked over and yawned. "A-Another??.." He asked us with a worried yet concerned look on his face. Paul nodded as he lied me down next to him, Patryk reached his arm over and hugged me. "a-are you okay??.." I give a small nod and kept myself under Patryk's arm, Paul lied down with us and started falling bck asleep.

/Time skip to the next morning\

I woke up next to Patryk but Paul was gone, I looked over and saw red all over his arm. I jumped and realized that it was blood. He then woke up the the amount of movement and noticed it too. He then jumped once he looked over at my hands, causing him to fall off the bed. Paul walked into the room and asked why Pat was on the floor. "Y-Y/N, look at their uhm..h-han-..claws??.." Patryk sat up and pointed to my hands???? I looked down and saw I had claws.

Paul walked over and held onto one of them, I felt tears starting to build up in my eyes as they then started to pour out. He placed his hand on my shoulder and tried to calm m down. After at least 10 minutes I started to calm down. Patryk came back with bandages on his arm holding a plate of scrambled eggs, a piece of toast and a cup of orange juice.

He sat down on the bed and I took hold of the plate, I looked over at his arm then set down the plate of food on the bedside table not wanting to eat. I pulled my legs up hugging them, I felt tears build up in my eyes as I do so. Hugging my legs as it is I then cried into them. Patryk then pulled me into a hug so did Paul. Also known as my dad's, I looked over at Paul who only smiled a little Patryk pulled away and suggested. "How about we go and do something today, it seems nice out there and would be a waste if we weren't to do so." I laughed a little. "Well, Mr.Fancy talk..I would like to but what about work? Aren't you going today?.." He shrugs "I'll call the day off." He said as he then smiled. I nod and hug him again "alrighty then!..thank you!" I say.

He kissed my forehead. "Anytime.."

--Time Skip--

I changed the channel on the Tv watching whatever cartoon came on, Luckily it was F/C ((Favourite Cartoon)) I enjoyed the show just as Patryk came over and switched it to something else, something boring..I sat up straight and tried grabbing the remote back "wh-hey!!" I whined. Patryk only pulled it away from me and closer to him then up in the air where I had to jump to get it. He laughed at me when I got up and started to climb the couch to grab it from him again. A sudden loud "BANG!!!" came from outdoors and repetitive knocks on the front door, I walked over and opened it to see a very familiar ginger standing there. He bent down and squeezed the life out of me. "Y/N!!!" He squealed. I patted his back and managed to wheeze out "M-Matt..let go..can't..breaaathheee..." He dropped me back down on my feet and apologized. "S-Sorry!!"

"It's fine, but uhm..what brings you here this fine morning?" I smiled. He bounced up and down, "well, we were wondering if you'd like to come join us on a adventure to a waterfall!!?" He loudly spoke. I gasped "a waterfall!?" He nodded "Yeah!!" I ran back to the lounge room, seeing Pat's still there. "Patryk!!!!" I yelled with excitement. He jumped and looked over. "Yeah?" He said. "can I please go on an adventure with Matt and the others!?" I asked while swaying from side to side. I liked the boys, we gotten to know each other over the years since we first met.

Pat shrugged "sure! Also, Y/N I beg that you be careful out there..okay??" He spoke in a serious tone. I nodded, ran over to him hugging him tightly "I will, THANK YOU!!" He hugged back and laughed. I sprinted back to the door and put my index finger up as a 1 to Matt "hold on ONE second I'll go get my shoes on!!" He nodded and I sprinted to my bedroom doing that.

I ran back out and waved to Pat as I passed the lounge room "Bye dads!!!" I yelled as I ran out the door and slammed it shut.
