'Experiment'? (Eddsworld Paul X Pat + Monster child! :D) {[COMEPLETED!!]}

Feels like family to me..

I washed up the dishes and walked into the lounge to just take a break from things but Y/N was in there, I guess they really liked watching Tv a lot. I sat with them and just fell right asleep.

- - Y/N's POV - -

I looked over at Pat who was asleep and decided to lie down with him by leaning on him, I felt him wrap his arms around me and rested his head on the top of mine. It really made me feel secure and happy, I drifted off to sleep after a little bit.

Once it hit an hour or so I then felt something cover me, it was soft and light. Paul had thrown a blanket over us two to keep us warm.

I open my eyes a little and looked up at him turning off the Tv the room was dim and the rain outside was heavy, "..P-Paul..?" I mumble still pretty tired. He turned and faced me, he quietly whispered "oh hey Y/N, it's okay just me! You can go back to sleep." He walked over and sat down on the other side of me and Patryk he moved some of my hair out of my face and made sure I fell back asleep again.

- - Paul's POV- -

Pat and Y/N were sleeping on the couch. I didn't want to wake them up, I sat down next to Y/N hoping as they fell back asleep. I gave Patryk a kiss on the forehead and listened to the sound of the rain outside. I turned off most lights in the house before I sat down. The darkness of the room made me feel tired I sat there having my arm around Patryk.

It was nice,
I liked this moment,
The darkness was really nice for me,
The raindrops tapping the windows,
Dropping onto the roof,
And just like that I drifted off to sleep.

/the next morning.\

I woke up to Y/N moving around uncomfortably needing to stretch I moved over and let them do that I was still half asleep so of course I fell asleep again. 'It's too early to get up.'

/time skip to: 10:27 Am\

I finally woke up but that was because of the thunder that was out there. I saw Pat was still sleeping but Y/N had gotten up already. I got up and wrapped Patryk with the blanket picking him up and put him to bed. I put him down and went to go look for Y/N.

I looked in their room and saw them in the corner with a blanket around them, they were shaking quite a bit. "Y/N, are you okay? What's wrong?" They looked over and mumbled "I'm scared.." I slowly walked over and sat down with them "why? What's bothering you?" They looked off and at the window and so did I. "Did..you see someone?" They shook their head.

- - Y/N's POV- -

I didn't like the big sounds that were coming from out there. They were scaring me a lot it was honestly too loud for me. I started to cry and felt a hand cup my cheek and then I was looking at Paul, "h-hey it's okay!" He stood up and walked over to the window closing it.

It change the loudness of the noises just they're more muffled but still very loud. It became warmer in the room, Paul had walked back over to me and sat back down. I leaned on him and continued crying, he put his arm around me and wiped my tears with his thumb.

I heard the bedroom door open and Patryk walked in "hey uhm..are you guys alright?.." he sat on the bed and lied across it facing me and Paul.
"W-What's wrong?.." he noticed me crying.

"..the scary loud noises..o-outside.." Patryk sighs "It's okay! It's just thunder, it doesn't hurt us." I look up at the window "it doesn't?.."

- - Paul's POV- -

I stood up and picked Y/N up sitting on the bed with Pat, I sat them down on my lap and got an idea that I remembered to help them calm down. "Hey Pat, can you grab my phone and earbuds for me please?" He looked at me confused, "Uhm..o-okay?.." he got back up and left the room coming back with the two items. He handed them to me and I gently put the earbuds in Y/N's ears.

I unlocked my phone and played some calming music like I did at the mall. I put my phone down next to me and wrapped my arms around Y/N hugging them tightly, the shaking of them calmed down just as if they entered a nice heated room after being out in a thunderstorm for a very while.

I felt a few drops of tears dropping onto my arms but they eventually stopped, I heard Pat giggle I turned my head towards him. "May I help you?" I jokingly say. "I want to join in, I'm being left out over here!" He laughs again. I sigh and put my arm out as in 'come on, get over here.' He shuffled over and joined in on this hug but before I realised what he'd done.

"Oh you nasty-" he'd trapped me in this hug.

He always complains about me 'not giving him enough attention.' Honestly he was clingy like that. I can't say no to this though, I had a small child in one arm and my loving partner in the other. I felt like a had a proper family and most comfortable then I've ever been in this moment, I felt..loved? But more less worried?..I don't know what about though. Those thoughts ran through my mind making this moment a bit better yet unfortunate for me.

I brushed them off my shoulder and thought about what matters most right now, I looked down at Y/N to see them smile I then looked at Pat, he looked at me noticing I had looked over. Before I could even noticed Patryk had leaned in closer and pecked my lips. A very cute smile showed on his face he rested his head on my shoulder and I looked back at Y/N.

- - Y/N's POV - -

I looked up to see Paul and Patryk kiss, it was very new to me to see two adults the same sex showing their love for each other. Paul looked down at me and asked if I was okay cause I had a confused look on my face. "O-Oh sorry!!..I've just..never s-seen two..same..gender people..K-Kissing.." I looked back down. "D-Does..it m-make you uncomfortable?.." Paul leaned his head down a little. I was expecting to get either yelled at or..hit. "..n-no it's just..n-new to me.." I felt Paul put his other arm around me again and turned me towards him.

He lifted me up making eye contact,
A smile showed on his face,
Then..a small sigh slipped out of him.
Words I've probably never heard before spoke upon him.

"It's okay! You can tell us if it makes you uncomfortable, we understand that it's new and it could tend to be!"

I shook my head "n-no really, I'm fine with it! There's nothing wrong with it at all! I've never actually seen it happen and I don't want to get in the way if that's kinda how to put it?.." I showed a smile.

Patryk sighed, "sorry, I just..we've never really gotten something like that before about us! So it's good to hear that from you. But just let us know if it does okay?" I nodded in response.

"Are you sure? I just..really want to make sure that your actually okay with it and not just saying that to get out of 'trouble'?" Pat looked a bit worried. I got a small shock that ran through my back like, electricity.

I nodded again, "g-guys! I'm being honest here!..I don't mind it, it doesn't bother me!..I think it's quite beautiful if I'm being brutally h-honest with you's..like I said it's just new that t-two people of the same gender are in a relationship..It's really just nice..I'm comfortable with it and you don't have to worry about a doubt from me!..I'll be by your side, really!.." I smiled even more while I hugged Paul. They both laughed and smiled hugging me so now it's a big ol' group hug! :)

- - Third person POV - -

Paul sorta broke the hug and looked at Patryk while his phone rang. Patryk sighed and took it out, the contact was 'Tord, (Boss).' Patryk sighed heavily and answered the call. "Hello sir, what's going on now?" Pat spoke into the phone. Paul mouthed to Patryk 'would you like us to head out?' Patryk nodded and so Paul stood up holding Y/N on his hip and walked out into the kitchen.

Y/N sat at the table with Paul, they looked up at him and asked "so..may I asked you something Paul?.." Paul nodded and faced towards them. "Who is..this 'boss'?" Paul sighed and before he could say anything Patryk rushed in and said to Paul "boss needs both of us for backup, right now." Paul looked over worried. "What about Y/N though!?" Pat shrugged "they can stay in the..bosses office! Or somewhere safe we need to leave!"
