*School time*
School is over now and I am heading off to cheerleading practice. But then Veronica stopped me in the hall. "Hey Betty listen, I am not lying to you I am just telling you he will be here today". "Ronnie it's okay really, If he isn't there he isn't there but if he is then I'll just welcome him", I said walking away. "Well, I love you have fun at practice". "Love you too". I headed into the gym to get dressed. I walked into the girls locker room and changed before anyone else got in there. I put my hair into a ponytail and made my way to practice.
"Well well well, Ms. Cooper you are early today. What is the catch", said my coach. "I love cheer Coach, now that is an everyday thing", I said walking to place my water on the bench. More people started to come in and the coach announced something. "Look at you're need Cheer captain". I looked at her confused. "Wha- What?". "You're the new captain Betty. I believe you deserve it". I shook her hand and felt the excitement rushing through my body. OH THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! "Okay guys since Betty here is you're new captain, no practice today and if you guys have any questions Betty will come to me I'll be in my office and she will take over". " Thanks Coach", I said heading into the locker room to get changed. As I walked in everyone clapped for me and I smiled. But there was one girl who looked mad. "Hey are you alr-". She cut me off. "I wanted that position and Coach gave it to you". I was shocked, so I decided to kill her with kindness. "Oh..I am so sorry but you really have to work harder to succeed into what you want love", I said as I was smiling. I walked away from her and got changed. By the time I was done I walked home. I came to my house and saw a white car, van even then it hit me. HE IS HERE! I really wanted to see him or even see if he has at least a tattoo. As I made my way into the house the door opened. It was a weird face like a caseworker or something but she is nice I like her already. I greeted her as she walked out. "Okay, have a nice day". "You too sweetie". I went inside and saw a guy with a beanie and he looked cute so I greeted him. "Hi, My is Elizabeth but you can call me Betty." He didn't talk to me whatsoever. He got up and went into Archie's room. Then Veronica came up to me. "He doesn't talk to us girls. I don't know why but he doesn't". She said. I felt a little more relieved because he just got here.
*Beach day*
Today was Saturday and it was also beach day mom takes us to the beach every Saturday because it's still hot out. I hate the beach but I didn't make a fuss. With that being said, I got all my things ready and went to grab a chair.
"Hey make sure Jughead wants one too", my mom said as I went into the shed. He doesn't even talk to me sooooo. "Alright". Is all I said . I called him. "Hey Jughead do you want a-". He cut me off. "No!!". "Uhh alright". I just continued to get ready.
"Guys come on let's go", my mom said. I went into the car and waited on the others. Only Veronica and Cheryl went out of the house. Toni is at work, Sweet pea is at work, Josie is out shopping and Reggie wasn't home for some reason. I don't know what is going on in this dude's head. "ARCHIE? JUGHEAD? LET GO", Mom said honking the horn. A few minutes later Archie came outside then followed behind him, Jughead. "Jeez took you long enough", Cheryl said look at them. "Oh just shut it Cheryl", Archie said. "Don't start with me Archie", Cheryl continued. "IF YOU GUYS BOTH DON'T SHUT UP I WILL GLADLY BREAK YOU'RE THROATS". I yelled trying to get them to stop. They all looked at me. "What?". "No it's just.. You make death threats now?", Archie said in confusion. "So what y'all need to shut up". I said sounding annoyed. He said something and I was just ignoring him playing on my phone.
We were at the beach and we all got out the car. We all took our things and went by the water. Then Jughead suddenly ran to the water and I laughed. It was funny to be honest with you. We didn't go to the beach for long because it was really boring. I dipped my feet in and say Jughead with Archie in the water splashing each other. "Awe how cute", I said while Veronica was walking with me. "Omg you have a crush on Raven hair over there". "What don't be too excited because I don't like him". "Oh trust me you do but it's alright though". We just kept walking. Whatever I don't like him.. Do I?
I didn't mention Sweet pea in the introduction my fault I am sorry.
