Today was the day, homecoming is here. School was just so boring. You know when you have something you literally can't wait for and you have to have school and it just goes by slow? Well that is happening to me. First period. That was an hour. Second period another hour. Third period ANOTHER hour. And Forth period finally. It was 2:57 and we leave at 3:45 UGHH!!!!! I don't wanna say I hate school because I would be lying if I said that. I just want to go to school then have my parents call me home because that just hits different. Now it's 3:26. From that time to 3:40 I was on my phone looking at Instagram I always go on my phone at this time I feel like it's kinda weird but ehh. My teacher came to me to say something.
(Teacher) T- Hey what are you doing?
B: Nothing.
T- Betty please do you're work
B: I am already finished
T- Still get off you're phone
B: But you said if we are done with our work we can go on our phones I don't understand.
T- Alright let me see you're work
B: *shows her the work she did*
T- Alright Miss. Cooper
Then she walks away. That was weird whatever I don't care.
School was over and I made my way to the benches I saw Toni, Veronica and Archie. I didn't see Jughead yet. I sat down and played music. Loud bass boosted music just hits different in headphones. I waited until I saw my mom pull up. I walked over to her and went in the car.
M: Hey baby how was school?
B: *doesn't hear*
M: *taps her on her leg*
B: Huh?
M: How was school?
B: Boring.
M: Homecoming is tonight.
B: Yeah, mom I am so excited.
M: Ouuu I know. The dress and everything it is beautiful.
Everyone else came to the car. I saw Jughead and he saw me. We exchanged looks and looked away. I can't wait kiss him one day. I thought that for a second. Ehh he probably just want to do this because we are only two freshman's at the house.
M: Hey Betty is any of your friends coming to homecoming?
B: Uh yeah Jasmine is coming. She doesn't have a date though.
M: Oh alright that great.
Jasmine is my bestfriend ever since middle school. I love her. She is the best. I don't think I'll ever get another one.
The homecoming night
I was getting ready with no make up because I'll look alright without it I guess. Then my mom came in helping me. Jughead was getting help by my dad that's adorable.
M: Where is the makeup
B: Uh I don't know
M: Come here
I went over to her and she started to cake my face. I looked into the mirror and saw beauty. I didn't think I'll ever get this beautiful.
B: Wow. Thanks mom.
M: No thank you. Your the beautiful one.
I hugged her and smiled.
M: Ouu wait what is going on with this hair?
I had my hair in a very low bun.
B: What's wrong?
M: VERONICAAAAAA
Veronica came in a hurry.
V: Yes ma'am?
M: Please bring me glitter.
V: Yes ma'am
Then she left and came back with a big bag with glitter. And hair sticky thingies. My mom started placing the glitter and hair things onto my head. When she was done I looked in the mirror and saw bling.
B: WWWWWOOOAAHH
I hugged her and made my way out there I saw Jughead and he look hot. That was a sight for sore eyes. He was beautiful. I was beautiful. We went into the car and left. My mom dropped us off and my heels started hurting. I never wore high heels I hurt really bad. I wanted to wear sneakers but Veronica and mom never would allow me to. I saw jasmine and I hugged her. I greeted her mom and we sat down.
20 minutes later.
Okay now it's time to announce who is won. I honestly don't care if I won I had a really great time with Jughead he is the best. I'll never ask for nothing more than this.
(Announcer) A: Now here is you're 2020- 2021 Dutch and Dutchess for the year... Vicky and Daniel
Ehh we didn't win but I'll be fine.
B: Although we didn't win I still feel like we won.
J: But we didn't win
B: It's fine
He squealed it was so cute. It sent butterflies into my stomach.
By this time we went home and I got a phone call.
*vicky is calling*
I answered.
B: Hey Vicky
V: I just wanted to say if I didn't win you would have won
B: What?
V: If I didn't sign up you would have won
B: I don't believe you.
(Teacher) T: It's true Betty
B: R- Really?
V&T: Yes Betty
B: Oh wow thank you guys so much.
*phone call ended*
I shocked. I didn't know. There is faith coming my way. At least I thought.
I made my way into the shower to get all the nasty sweat and all that good jazz off. When I was done I made my way to the laundry room to drop off my towel. I grabbed a snack and sat at the bar to eat it. When I was done I made my way to my room. I closed my door and set my LED light's to my chill color. (Blue). I hung up my homecoming thing and laid down. I went on my phone and snuggled underneath my covers. I was on snapchat streaking people back and I fell asleep.
