I saw a horse riding across the water, speeding towards camp. It looked like three people were on it. How was it running so fast? Then I noticed five other flying horses, pegasi, each with a person and a pack on it. The horses stopped in the center of camp. The wingless horse nickered and whinnied.
"Yes, yes Arion I know you don't like running that slow but we had to let the pegasi catch up." The girl said.
"Seriously Hazel that horse needs to watch its language. I mean come on Annabeth you gotta agree with me. The boy with the black hair said.
"Percy you forget that this is an immortal horse that can understand English and bite your arm off." Annabeth scolded.
"Annabeth, Percy, I must show you what has happened." Chiron insisted urgently.
"You mentioned something about Rachel issuing another prophecy. Who is this other quest member?" Percy asked.
"Uh, me. I am Kayla Reed, daughter of Hypnos." I introduced myself shyly.
Annabeth studied me with her gray eyes. Like she was reading my soul, finding my weaknesses.
"Hypnos?" Annabeth asked carefully.
"Yes, I promise I won't fall asleep randomly." I said earnestly.
Chiron led Percy, Annabeth, Hazel, and the Roman medics to the pavilion, I just followed behind.
"Kayla please explain to everyone what happened." Chiron said putting me on the spot.
I stepped forward and explained the whole story. I was expecting Percy and Annabeth to be extremely angry with me, this was there home and I had ruined it. But the only emotion they revealed was empathy. Like they knew all about the life of a demigod, which of course they did.
"I need the medics to help me feed and care for everyone until Percy, Annabeth, and Kayla return."
"So what is this prophecy exactly?" Annabeth asked Chiron.
"I will tell you at the Big House. I also have something else to show you " Chiron replied then turned back to the medics.
Chiron gave Annabeth and Percy time to look at their friends. Percy walked over to Connor and put a hand on his shoulder. Connor mumbled something inaudible, Percy wiped his face and walked away. Annabeth walked over to someone I didn't know that well. I think it was a son of Athena, Malcom was it? Annabeth put her hand on her brother's cheek and kissed him on the nose. Percy and Annabeth walked over to the side of the pavilion and had a very strange conversation. At first they hugged each other and then they started having a little argument. Once Annabeth glared at me, but Percy took her hand. At last they hugged again, and then kissed. Percy and Annabeth walked back over to the group and Chiron looked at me expectantly so I also joined everyone.
"I do not believe that we need to alert Camp Jupiter on Camp Halfblood's situation. Although Hazel you can report back to Praetor Reyna and Praetor Frank. Percy, Annabeth, and Kayla are going on a quest to try to retrieve the memories. I am not exactly sure what they are looking for, but I may have an idea. Questers I would like you to follow me to the Big House. Medics, do whatever you believe is best for the campers." Chiron directed.
The four of us headed to the Big House, Chiron leading the way. We all stepped inside and Chiron walked over to his wheelchair and his horse body disappeared under the blanket, his fake feet looking totally real.
"Where's Rachel? I want to talk with her about the prophecy. What is the prophecy?" Annabeth questioned.
