Okay, this is the hardest part, so I will try my best to explain it.
1. Your vocabulary. It should be fluent and understandable, make sure to proof-read it before you publish it. Read it aloud to find more mistakes you might have made while typing. I suggest Microsoft Word if you use windows, I do not know about Apple and such sorry.
Any Document would be perfect for autocorrect making your work easier.
2. Your sentence formation is very important. Put a lot of stress to how you place the words in your sentence. Even if they are general words and not complex, the way you form the sentence makes it better.
For example: 'she sat on her sofa, and thought about the fight that just happened and she started to cry'
It's blunt and irritating. Instead you could say:-
'She was stressed, she didn't know how to deal with such a situation. Tears flowed down her puffed cheeks as she plopped her self onto her couch, rewinding the situation that had just occurred in her mind, fearing that by just a few words, it would have somehow eased the situation'
Though it was a simple 2 line sentence, by using words we use in our daily life, it set to a 5 line fluent and eligible sentence. The adjectives used must be proper to the scene occurring.
I truly hope you understood this point.
3. Your chapter length must not increase 1500 words. It becomes too long for the reader.
4. This is a very important point, do not make your paragraphs too long, it's hard for the reader to focus and they just skip it. No, you want the reader to read it entirely. Make it maximum five lines on the preview mode and not more than that.
5. Add an author's note every now and then. Your real self should be seen too.
6. Add an author's or third person's point of view now and then.
7. Do not ask for votes in your author's note. I made that mistake too many times :'( ask for comments though :P
8. Try replying to your comments!
9. Don't add an individual comment in your book man. Like seriously?
PS: When you publish a chapter and you click on the vote button, it doesn't make a difference as far as I know, don't announce that please.
10. Have aesthetic dividers. [It just makes it cooler lmao]
