16. Shattered Reality

"Mm A-August please.."

Chris moaned underneath me and I groaned as he backed himself up on to me. I told him to quit doing that shit cause it drives me crazy.

"Christopher stop doing that shit." I whined and kissed up his spine as he continued to throw it back.

His face was burried into the pillows and his ass was up. I pulled his arms back, making him take all of me at one time. Chris loved to run.

"August I can't, I-I'm, fuck.."

He hissed against clenched teeth and shot out onto the sheets. He tightened himself around me and I almost screamed as I came inside of him and pulled out, rolling over to lay on his side.

Why is his ass so good lord ? Why is my pipe so heavenly ?

"August. Get the fuck out !"

I sleepily rolled over to face a blushing and pouting Chris. He pushed on my shoulder and I frowned as I grabbed his wrist, pulling him on top of me.

"Fuck you mean get out, what I do to you ma ?"

He glared at the nickname and straddled my waist, making me bite my lip.

"You never fucking slow down !"

I chuckled and rested my hands on his waist, closing my eyes in the process.

"Baby I can't help it, you be so tight and when I'm already sliding in I can't stop myself. And then you always throwing it back and I just lose my mind in that shit ma."

Chris blushes and leans down to press a chaste kiss to my lips.

"I love you Alsina. Now do me a favor."

I opened my eyes and ran my hands up his torso. "Anything.."

"Wake up."

I shot up and looked around the room. I was breathing heavy and my head hurt like hell.

"Are you Alsina ?"

A black man dressed in baby blue scrubs addressed me and I stood up to my full height. He shrunk back and I scowled as I said yes.

"Right this way then, I'm sorry to keep you waiting s-sir."

I just nodded and silently followed him down the corridors of the hospital. Not this place..again. It brought back sour memories. When I found all of this shit out I was going to go and get me some damn Jack Daniels.

The man bowed and opened the door before running off. I walked in and shut the door behind me.

What I seen made my heart stop. My breath sped up and my vision started to become blurred by my tears. I ran over to the hospital bed and leaned over it, staring at a pale looking Chris.

"You must be August..I'm sorry to inform you but..Christopher is in a temporary coma. When you brought him in, he already had a very bad concussion from what I assume to be a car injury. The bullet shot through one of his arteries and he lost a lot of blood, making his body temporarily shut down. We were able to remove the bullet and fix the artery, but there is no given time when he will wake up from his coma."

The doctor slowly read to me what was wrong with Chris and I just screamed at the top of my lungs. This wasn't suppose to happen to my baby..Not when we were just getting together. Not when we were going to see Mel, not when I was going to do so much for him..Now they telling me they don't even know when he'll wake up ?

"Get out."

"Sir, I can't leave unti-"

"I SAID GET THE FUCK OUT!"

The doctor quickly nodded his head and walked out, shutting the door behind himself.

"Baby..please talk to me."

I pulled up a chair to the side of Chris's bed and grabbed his cold hands.

"Christopher please get up. Baby man stop fucking with me!"

My eyes were starting to burn and I was starting to choke on my tears. Not another person that I loved..first Mel, now Christopher too?

"Chris baby I know you are still there. Somewhere, move a finger or something so I can know that you there man. Baby I love you so much, please don't leave me like Mel did."

I wiped my face with the sleeve of my shirt and almost leaped for joy when Chris's fingers twitched softly.

"Thank god man. Thank god."

I smiled and ruffled his hair as he breathed through a tube in his nose.

"I'll be back baby. Im gonna go home and clean myself up. I love you, so much Chris. Please wake up soon okay?"

I sighed and leaned up to kiss his lips several times.

My dreams turned into a shattered reality.
