"Babe! You ready? Let's go!" Michael hollered from the living room. Laelia dashed out of the bedroom, jacket in hand. "Come on! We're gonna be late!" Michael shouted, sounding closer to the door.

"Sorry! Couldn't find the jacket I wanted." She puffed. Clearly out of breath from racing through the apartment. Michael was already half way out the door, by the time she could see him.

"You good?" He asked as she stepped into the hall. She nodded, slinging her jacket over her head to put it on. "You're sure you didn't forget anything?" Michael inquired and held up the keys, letting her know he was going to lock the door.

"Yes. Amelia's gift is in the car. And I have my credit card and ID in my pocket." Laelia assured him. He nodded, locking the door with ease. "Do you know where this club is? I've never even heard of it." Laelia asked, following Michael to the elevator.

"Yeah. It's near the restaurant we went to with Gracie and Liam a couple weeks ago, maybe a block or two away." Michael explained with ease. "I looked it up when you told me about it. It's supposed to be pretty nice."

"Knowing Jana it's going to be wild though." Laelia giggled. Michael stared at her curiously. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"

Michael shrugged, "You're in a good mood." Laelia lifted her eyebrow at him, not understanding his strange expression of confusion. "You've not been in an actual good mood for a couple of weeks."

"I think having a girls night with Amelia and Jana helped. It was nice to just hang out and not doing anything for a day. The sleepover was a lot of fun and I liked spending the day with Amelia yesterday. I haven't done either of those things in a while."

"Would've been nice to know that all you need was a girls night." Michael chuckled.

Laelia shook her head, "I guess I didn't know until it happened."

"Are you feeling better about your dreams? Have they stopped?" Michael inquired as they stepped off the elevator.

"Its fine now. I'm not bothered anymore." She lied with a soft smile. Michael gave a single nod, heading for the car without a second glance at her. She didn't like lying but she knew he wasn't really keen on hearing anything more about her dreams. For the night, she wanted to forget about the dreams. She wanted to spend the night having fun with the people she loved the most. She was determined.

"LAE!" Amelia's already drunken voice rang in her ears. She laughed as she scooped up the petite woman. "Oh I'm so glad you're here!" Amelia squeezed her back happily. "Jana is over at the bar getting me another drink." Amelia informed her. "Mikey." Amelia grinned at Michael, knowing the nickname bothered him.

"Ami, be nice." Laelia murmured with a chuckle. "Your gift." Laelia presented the small box wrapped in pale pink paper. Amelia clapped like a small child, taking the present with joy.

"I'm going to go  say hi to everyone else." Michael stated, leaving Amelia and Laelia alone.

"How was your night last night? Did you sleep okay?" Amelia asked as soon as Michael was out of ear shot.

"Today is supposed to be about you." Laelia reminded her quickly. Amelia gave her a blank stare. Laelia shrugged, "I slept better than the night before."

"Did you dream again?"

"Yes."

"Okay, what was it about this time?" Amelia's genuine curiosity was comforting to Laelia.

She blushed, "Same guy, still can't remember what he looks like when I wake up, but I know he's  the same because of how I feel." Amelia urged her to go on with eager eyes. "But it was a completely different time."
