~Just A Cullen Story: Re-Vamped~

The house was in motion when we returned home from Charlie's; Jasper was putting a file together for me to take to Jenks, I knew it would contain all the information I would need for him to sort out our papers. Esme was looking over several real estate properties in different states. Carlisle was at the other computer filling out several applications to hospitals based on the area Esme was interested in.

Alice, Rose, and Emmett were all discussing if they wanted to start off in high school, or go straight to college.

Edward and I were still undecided; we were really waiting to see what Nessie would decide to do, so I looked over to her.

“Nessie, sweetheart, what would you like to do? Where would you like to start?”

Now that Renesmee was approaching her seventh birthday her growth rate has slowed, she looks about sixteen now. I wonder if she will have another burst of growth before her next birthday.

“I think I would like to experience high school before college.” Out of the corner of my eye I seen all the ‘children’ grimace. They have been through this so many times now, but this was Nessie’s first time through, and I knew they would do it as well, to help keep an eye on her.

“That sounds like a wonderful idea sweetheart.” I replied to her.

“Well, I’m glad that’s settled then!” Emmett boomed out, making us all chuckle.  

“I found the perfect house!” Esme exclaimed then. “It has everything we need in the town; it’s close to a mall, it’s tucked into the forest, and it’s close to the Canadian border for hunting. It’s a small town, but the hospital is more modern.”

“Well, don’t keep us in suspense dear, where are we going?” Carlisle asked.

“Ely, Minnesota!” Esme and Alice exclaimed together.

A few hours later Jasper approached me, his eyebrows were pinched and he had a businesslike air about him.

“Bella, here is the file you need to give to Jenks, it has all the information he will need to make the documents for the move, I also called and made you an appointment. Also the cash is in the second envelope.” I knew Jasper was still upset that I wanted to take over this situation. It really was not just the fact that Jasper scared the poor man; I just wanted to do something useful.
