A week later

A group of younglings were training in a sparring ring. They were all learning how to hold lightsabers. Their teacher, was master Kenobi. He had also brought along his recently knighted padawan, Anakin Skywalker. But Anakin was currently busy arguing with a little girl over what was the right way to hold her lightsaber. She wasn't comfortable holding them in the normal shien grip. But Anakin wouldn't let her practice with the reverse grip. So here he was. Anakin Skywalker, Jedi knight, arguing with a 4 year old. "You can't hold it like that!" Anakin said loudly. "Yes I can!" The little girl replied. "No, you can't!" Anakin said. "No ones ever done it!" "More reason too then!" Ahsoka retorted. Anakin was about to say something when Obi wan walked up to them. "What's wrong?" He asked folding his arms over his chest. The girl stayed silent. "She won't hold her lightsabers right." Obi wan raised an eyebrow. "Right?" He questioned Anakin. Anakin looked at him. "She holds them backwards!" "So that's wrong?" Obi wan asked. "Yes!" Anakin said, exasperated. Obi wan smirked. "We'll have to test that therory." He said. "You fight her. If you win, she has to switch her grip. If she wins, she gets to stay that way. Agreed?" The girl nodded quickly and smirked at Anakin. Anakin begrudgingly nodded. "Good." Obi wan said. "Let us commence!" He guided the pair over to a ring in the center of the room. Coincidentally, the Jedi council was coming to observe the younglings. And Obi wan DEFINITELY did not know this. "Alright." Obi wan said as he handed the girl two smaller training sabers, and Anakin one big one. "One rule. Don't kill each other."

The girl smirked. "We won't." Anakin said. The council watched from the balcony above them, out of sight. "Go!" Obi wan said. The other younglings watched from a distance, intrigued. The girl turned her lightsabers on, holding them in the reverse shien grip. Anakin turned his on and held it up. They both waited to see who would strike first. Then Anakin ran at her and swung his lightsaber at her. She blocked and swung one of them at his torso. He dodged it and swung at her again. She jumped up, and flipped through the air, landing on the opposite side of the ring. Then she ran at Anakin and tried to cut through him with her sabers. He deflected and gently kicked her to the ground. He would fight her, but he wasn't going to kick a 4 year old hard In the chest. She tumbled back, but turned it into a spin and jumped at him.

Before he could do anything, her tiny four year old self was knocking him to the ground, lightsabers at his neck, foot on his head. His eyes widened. The four year old had defeated him. Maybe he should have kicked her harder. "Do you except defeat?" She asked him. He almost didn't say anything. She put her foot down a little harder. "Ow! yes ok!" He said. She took her foot off him and turned off her sabers. She bowed at him, before slipping down the hall to meet with the rest of the younglings, who had left. "Wait." Obi wan said. "What's your name, little one?"

She smiled at him. "Ahsoka. Ahsoka Tano master." He nodded, then turned away as she skipped off. Anakin still seemed to be in shock. "How did she...?" He said. He walked off shaking his head. Obi wan chuckled. His former padawan got ahead of himself sometimes. The council slowly descended behind him. "She will make a good apprentice, when the time is right." Master Windu said. "Agree, I do. Make a good team, they will." Master Yoda said. They watched as Ahsoka talked to her friend Barriss. "Someday." Obi wan said. "Someday."

Woo hoo! I have literally had this scene In my head for a year! It's also important for y'all to know, ANAKIN DIDNT HEAR AHSOKA'S NAME. Ok? Just wanted you to get it. :)
