I pressed my body flat against the cold wall as Alli walked round the corner. Her shoes squelched across the floor while I stood lifelessly pressed on the wall.

"Good Morning Miss Streter. How are you?" Alli asked with fake interest.

"I'm good. How are you?"

"Fine." She replied, boredom lacing her tone.

"So what can I do for you today?" Miss Streter asked.

"Well......" Alli started. She was drumming her fingers on the desk.

"Yes dear?"

"You know the 10th grade smokers?"

Everyone knew about the group of smokers in the 10th grade. No one, however, knew who they were. People always talked about them, even the teachers knew.

"Yes..." Her voice sounded more intrigued.

"Well I think I know where they are."

Alli had no clue where they were. We needed a reason to get rid of Miss Streter.

"Where dear?"

"Under the car park, the passage that leads to the park and under the bridge in the park." Alli lied. We were sending her on a goose chase.

There was a large area under car park and no one knew what it was used for. Normally, people would meet up under there or play football. There was also a park next to our school. There was a long passage way that lead to the park from under the car park. That was long and dark. As for the park, well it was large and it belonged to the school. All the 10th graders hanged out around there.

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely."

"OK. Thank you dear."

"But you need to go up to them discreetly. You need to be careful. You need to go through the car park and down the side stairs. You must be quiet and look around to see if anyone is there. Examine the area carefully and take your time. Then......." Alli started babbling on.

I felt my butt vibrate and pulled my phone out of my pocket. I unlocked the screen and clicked the new message. It was from Taylor.

Where r u?

I had already thought of this. I couldn't have her knowing what I was going to do. Me and Alli had discussed this this morning.

Detention in the library, see you in Health :)

I slid my phone back into my pocket and continued listening to the conversation.

"If I'm not back by the end of the day, lock up for me will you?"

"Sure."

I looked at my watch, we had just over an hour. It was 6th period and I had a free one while Taylor was in her advanced Biology class. Alli was also on a free period.

"Bye Miss!" Rachael called, as Miss walked out the door. I waited to it was clear before coming out from behind the wall.

"Hi Ruby."

Alli was acting 'normal' as the cameras where still on. I could see the keys that would turn them off tucked securely in her hand. I pulled out my schedule and pretended to look at it while Alli walked towards the office. She slid through the door while I tugged my phone out of my pocket. I pretended that I was playing a very interesting game on my phone.

I was about to put my phone away when I saw a call from Grant. Decline. I had told him not to talk me. I had made it very clear. My phone vibrated in my hand and I saw that Grant was calling me again. I denied it, rolling my eyes. He was very impatient. My phone vibrated, it was Grant calling, again. I was really getting annoyed and answered the phone, ready to give him a piece of my mind.
